15 Actors Currently Battling...
We know that reality can be far harsher than the movies show. However, those who truly understand this are the actors who have faced physical illness. Behind the scenes, not everything is as glamorous as it seems, and some of our favorite actors have battled these challenges.

I have Diabetes 2 as well and because of this pre-existing disease, I almost died of Covid in 2020, but I'm still alive! My best friend Helen also had Epilepsy and was mentally disabled. I was hoping she'd would've been able to see me graduate from GSU in '87 with a BA in Art, but she had a seizure like Cameron Boyce had-she suffocated in her pillow one morning in '78.

I have epilepsy since age 14. Mostly controlled by medication. But I noticed that it's also a stress related issue. Like a seizure after exams, while moving, if I'm under physical or emotional stress. Physical stress could be if I've been sick. The first time was when I had been sick for a week and was just feeling well enough to go back to school One happened when the pharmacy put 2 different kinds of pills in my new prescription. Totalled my brand new first car. I hate driving. I'm so afraid I might hurt someone else. And I get lost easy.

My Uncle dies of M.S a few years ago, and that segment of Selma Blair brought up a lot of emotions for me. I remember how much he suffered and the battle how fought through, he became a shell of his former self, and he was trapped in his own mind. He only knew how to say a couple phrases in his last year or so and didn't even know anyone from our own family. I'll pray for Selma, I'm so happy treatment is working for her, and that she is doing well. M.S is a terrible disease, if anybody here reads this with M.S, keep fighting and don't give up.

@@hollyoswald7808I agree. So many people are angry at Jolie because of her endowments of beauty and wealth. The Brca gene has a 50/50 chance of claiming her bio children, which is sadly concerning. A total hysterectomy and breasts removal are painful both physically and emotionally. I don’t know why people cannot sympathize with anyone who i# suffering. She has no expectation for a cancer free life just because she had “preventative” procedures. What’s wrong with people? Especially women who don’t support other women. I find it tragic.

@@charly3575 - her own family history didn't help either. Her mom died young of breast cancer and I think a lot of the other women in her life were the same, aunts, grandmother. So, I don't blame her. She had the means to get the test, got it, and then followed up with the most extreme way to ensure she stayed here for her children. I just hope she tested her kids when they were young and have let them see the things she's gone through. I wouldn't tell them until they were older if they had the gene, but if my kids had those genes, I would want them to be as best prepared for that possible future as they could be. Hopefully none of her daughters have this gene mutation.

He hit head hard so dementia was fast, we knew of Parkinsons for 8 yrs b4. He passed in May after that winter. It was hard. He didnt want help, he was getting to be a runner. He spent last week of his life in hospital barely able to talk, then he couldnt. We knew he could hear us. On the Last night i walked in with my daughter to say good bye and he would wiggle his foot, so we knew he heard us tell him we loved him and it was ok to go. My daughter moved inn with my mama a few months later & took her cat. So when daughter at work, cat cuddles with mama. She's 82 and still doing well! 🙏♥️😇

my 26 year-old sister-in-law ended up passing away from lupus. And then shortly there after I was having a red rash on my face and the way they test you for rosacea, which is less severe is by testing you for lupus first and ruling it out. I told my doctor that my sister-in-law just passed away from it and he said well it’s gonna be a five day wait on the test results . That was a very hard five days. But I’m lupus free. New sub here! I'm only disappointed about your brief note about Morgan Freeman. I'm a Fibromyalgia Fighter, too, and first you mispronounced the disease, it doesn't call ''fibroidmyalgia,'' and then no further explanation as you did to most others. It doesn't help our cause, at all! While Fibro is still considered a ''myth'' for many, or ''it's just all in your head'' etc, it would benefit us to get a little more credit by a brief rundown using your platform. Even if Freeman usually mentions his car accident as ''cause'' for his Fibro, I cannot see that. Rather it triggered the underlaying disease he already had probably for years to break out. It's a debilitating disease with a number of different symptoms concerning mostly muscle matter and joints but not limited to. Life with Fibro is very challenging, and basically changes your life as you were used to from one moment to another. It takes a lot of patience, self-care, understanding and respect towards your body, a strong mind as well as a great amount of creativity on how to manage life to a degree where at least the good days are still worthwhile.

Hang tough Morgan Freeman. Fibromyalgia, often called a non-disease, is real. I have it in my neck but control it with an old fashioned antidepressant called amitriptyline at bedtime. It's also a pain control medication, not just an antidepressant. Before I was diagnosed by a neurologist, I wanted to cut my neck open and pull out the pain. It was that awful. Fibromyalgia is also a result of non-restorative sleep thus the amitriptyline, which helps me sleep. By posting this I hope someone who has unexplainable pain will consult a good neurologist. Mine put me thru a series of tests, testing my reactions, my tolerance of pain and finally an MRI, which showed stress on my nerve endings in my neck. Previously all I could do was take pain meds which I hate. I took so much ibuprofen I could have seriously hurt my kidneys and liver. I don't touch that anymore either. Tylenol for minor aches & pains occasionally is it besides the amitriptyline at bedtime. Good health to all!

It's sad, but when people are told drinking and doing drugs is bad for your health, they don't want to listen because of instant gratification. I feel sad about Bruce because I loved the Jersey boys work. At least he has a loving family to take care of him. People do not drink booze and do drugs. The 2020 Shots make pre exiting conditions worse and many people developed rapid c. That is why younger and younger people are getting sick in my opinion. There is always a common denominator. That is how real scientists come to conclusions.
