Love it. I used to do that to the boys rc's. He's still got one. It was using a9.6v battery so I slapped a3s lipo in it. It does OK

They knew people like you were going to mess with their products so they reverse the wires. That body does look killer on the scx24 I like it.

@@TheShopMiniRC I found that out years ago on a 6 channel helicopter I had. The helicopter came with its own battery. I had some that looked just like it..except I didn't pay attention to the color swap on the battery . I let the smoke out.

I put a random 9v in mine and wired it up. It was a massive improvement!

I just tried a 9 volt in mine and it won't work ! The works just fine but when I try to get it to move the 9 volt battery locks up the motor and the tires won't spin at all ! 😢

I got two of these that I modded and I love mine's. Even with no upgrade I find it not to bad . all in all its a steel for 15. Just subscribed, fire video. Me and my son go at it all the time with these model's. But I also have a bonzai jubatus B416 1/14 and I spent just 50 well with shipping bout 80, I wanted it fast, and let me tell you dat thing can move. I raced the modded metal steel racer and it was closer than I thought it would be but the bonzai bought the smoke still the metal racer was trying to hang😂great video.

That car had a jst. But it was backward polarity. So be careful.

Eh… anything can be done, but it would not be easy. You might as well just buy a Losi Mini B or Mini T and get a car that performs REALLY well and has tons of support.

The silly micro sized midget radio / transmitters trend need to stop, anyone with actual man sized hands will never be able to use them. They should only be an option for children in all honesty.
