Avengers: Endgame was the culmination of the Infinity Saga and in terms of sheer spectacle, it didn’t disappoint one bit. How could it? The movie looked amazing and that’s in large part due to the extensive amount of CGI work that was done to the movie. Almost every shot and frame in the film had some sort of CGI addition to it which is crazy given it’s massive runtime. But what did a lot of our favorite Endgame scenes look like before CGI were inserted? Check out the video to find the answer!
It’s surprising to look at a lot of these behind the scenes photos and discover just how much CGI is involved with making a superhero movie like this. Everything from Hawkeye and Black Widow’s fateful journey to Vormir, to Captain America wielding Thor’s Hammer, to even the white time travel suits the Avengers wore as they traveled through time to retrieve the stones. All these moments required heavy amounts of CGI, but today we’re peeking behind the curtain to see what a lot of these scenes looked like before and after CGI.
