Hi, thank you for the kind words and for watching! I don't know of a wayt to save it to the desktop, but you can always save app pairings and your preferred screen setup for each of the apps to the toolbar to the right. The one that you swipe from the right side edge, the Edge Panel toolbar.

Thank you so much for watching, I appreciate you. So battery life on this is pretty good, but not quite as good as last year's 11th gen model - but very close. On average, I'm getting roughly 8 or 9 hours or so, depending on what I'm doing. When I'm working on a long video edit, I tend to keep the brightness up pretty high and Davinci Resolve can be quite demanding. I'll get about 6 hours in Optimized mode when editing and rendering. Same goes for gaming, around 6 hours. But, if I'm just browsing the web and stuff like that, and keep the brightness down a little, I get upwards of 12 hours. If I put it in one of the battery saver modes, I'm sure it would last even longer than that, but I always just keep it in Optimized mode because I always forgot about the different modes until I respond to youtube comments, lol.

Howdy Joe! Sorry for the slow reply, been crazy busy this week. I didn't even notice the UWB toggle, great catch. That's a great question, and I honestly have no idea. Wouldn't ultra wide band be more power efficient? Or it that only vs older BT versions I wonder. I need to look more into it... someday I might actually get with the times and start using smart tags, lol.

Hi Jayrath, thank you so much for watching! The differences are very subtle, and I don't notice much when closing an app either. I mostly notice it being a little smoother when switching between apps, and some of the animations look a bit "cleaner", so to speak. Nothing ground breaking though.

I've been using Google messages since One UI 5 beta, but mostly used Samsung Messages prior. Both have their pros and cons. They both work fine within the ecosystem, they flow through fine on all devices. Thanks for watching!

Hi, thanks for watching! Still the same. Here in the US, it only has the default English language installed, though you can install a ton of different ones from that settings section. I honestly haven't paid too much attention to the available languages in the past, given that I only speak english. But from what I can tell, it all looks the same.

@@kelvindean No, that one feature is for using a specific language per app. So maybe Spanish for one app, then english for another.

Have you checked Battery and Device care to see which apps are sucking up the most battery? I think you might have something running in the background that's draining it fast. Yeah i checked my friend everything was running fine...i was observing from past 4-5 days ...same work with intermittent breaks but still I am getting around 6 hours

But I still wanted to include it because it's not part of One UI 4.1.1/Android 12L on the galaxy tablets yet (at least not that I can tell, I checked it out thoroughly), but will be once One UI 5 comes out. So I figure I better throw it in here since the tab s8 line gets the update next month.

Hi, thanks for watching and sharing your inputs! It would be nice if they made it longer, but I can sort of see why they kept it only 15 seconds. It takes about 15 seconds for 4 rings, and most (not all) will go to voicemail after the 4th or 5th ring. Since the video only shows up while ringing (I think so anyways, I honestly haven't paid attention), most wouldn't see any video past the 15 seconds mark anyways. But yeah, 30 seconds would have been nice and would cover all dialing scenarios.

@@RADERTECH thanks for your feedback, but in my region, the 15 sec mark only cover a quarter of the ringtone duration anyways, thanks once again.

Hi James, thanks for the comment and for stopping by. That's really strange, I've always had pretty good luck with them over the years. I make sure that none of the apps they interact with get slated for deep sleep, that used to cause some problems when I first started using them.

@@jebaker2 It's smoother, but I wouldn't say it's more stable though. My Fold 4 crashed on me once shortly after updating to One UI 5, but thankfully that only happened once so far.

Settings, then Apps, then pick the app you want to adjust. There will be a Disable, enable, or uninstall button at the bottom depending on the current status of the app. There's other ways too, and to completely remove a system app, it's just a couple ADB commands There's actually canned scripts on reddit to do this all for you.
