Coolwater parfum price is justified. Extremely well done and balanced frag. Smells amazing in hot weather and in cold, it has those woody notes more prominent. Lasts a lot and leaves a gorgeous scent trail.

I used this as a work fragrance for about a year and constantly had people ask me what I was wearing. Such a gem of a fragrance that most people overlook because its a cool water flanker.

It was a steal at the rack stores. Back when I got it, the price of Cool Water Parfum was around $20-30. I get a very similar vibe to Dylan Blue but not quite as rich or sweet. Personally I like it way better than DB. Anybody else get that?

@@dk302948 Can see the similarities, yes. To DB, Sauvage and some others but they arent so clise to Coolwater. It really has that cooling warming component which comes out depending on the climate.

Rasasi Hawas and Turathi Blue are excellent blue fragrances that also have the desired versatility due to their ability to cut through colder weather as well.

I've never thought of sauvage as a fresh scent. Always found it more wintery, warm and peppery rather than fresh and aqua

Appreciate that you mentioned Stronger With You Only. It's one that doesn't get a lot of love or recognition and I received so many compliments from it last summer. It projects hard for at least 6 hours on a hot day which is saying something.

My favorite beast mode freshie is Asrar Indonesia, who knew Rasasi could make a niche level masterpiece!? The most opulent oud I've ever smelled mixed with citruses, spices, woods, vetiver, musk, amber. Real oud is not for everyone but it makes me feel like a Saudi prince. 👑

I've been noticing that Salvatore Ferragamo Acqua Essenziale Blu is starting to get a bit more expensive. And I REALLY like it. But I've heard rumblings that it's almost ☠️. And I'm 😞. Thanks Ash.

Great topic for a video! Its easy to make fleeting fresh fragrances, and easy to make long lasting heavy or syrupy sweet scents, but it takes more ingenuity to make bright, herbal, aromatic, etc. scents last a long time

My favorite fresh fragrance is/was guerlian Homme ideal cool. Sadly its discontinued. However it has an insane projection and the performance ist at least 8h+ i remember getting an compliment after 9h of spaying

I'd add..creed - Irish green tweed to fresh scents..some compare it to fresh cut grass but has a woody ending..somebody stood behind me closer for a longer smell they loved the scent so much

I just picked up mualhens carrera edt very clean and fresh, perfect day and work edt and it's not a bank breaker. I purchased this to give it a go as I loved the no longer available fragrance called Sumatra Rain from the 90s.

Light Blue Forever during fall or winter is the way to balance out the sweat notes. No one is smelling like sweat during winter😅

People can hate on Sauvage all they want I got a deal of 3 X 200ml EDP for $450. It's a masterpiece and will be like Farenheit in 25yrs still selling and people love it. It was made for mass appeal I don't buy for compliments but out of 86 bottles in my collection with all the heavy hitters in there when I wear this I've had compliments. So bag it at your own peril but I bet somewhere in your collection you have a bottle.

Ash bang bang banging video! I am still rocking Missoni Wave in the fall a great day tyme scent. I am a Polo Deep Blue Parfum many of the RL have a mango note that just slays all the mainstream fragrances! I've never got into H24 it just doesn't move me like the rest of the list... Aqua Essensale Blu is the best of all worlds one of my favorite everyday fragrances Thanks for keeping it real and great content!

"The worst French you've ever heard in your life". No. Quite the opposite. That french pronunciation for Déclaration d'un Soir was spot on. Even the accent was close to Metropolitan/Parisian French. It was actually one of the best french I've heard from a non-native french speaker.

Was a big polo sport and cool water guy back in the day. Still remember those distinct smells. I am surprised no John varvatos scents. The ferragamo causal life gets no love anywhere and I slept on it myself but in the heat it is starting to become a go to simply because how it holds up in the heat. It lasts and smells so fresh! I also like Armaf tres Nuit. Gives me a great zesty smell I can’t seem to get enough of. Great video! I love watching them all. 😂

Day 22 of asking Ash to start a petition to get a winter flanker of Acqua Di Gio put into production. Also, Missoni Wave opens beautifully for me, but I quickly get olfactive sensory reduction when wearing it, so I can’t enjoy it for too long. Absolutely adore Bleu Noir Extreme! One of my favourite to use in Spring/Summer.

Ash,would love to see what you think of pure instinct by Swiss Arabian. I work on a checkout,so I meet a lot of people every day, they love this and it seems to last forever. My wife makes me shower when I get in as it's so strong,I go noseblind but it's still there. Give it a go, honestly love to hear your thoughts

Any tips to learn to hate Sauvage less? I get so many compliments when I wear it but that ambroxan just makes me want to yak. For the record, I don’t want to be a hater. I love Dior as a brand and was really hoping I’d enjoy it more.
