12:25 I am upgrading from verna fluidic manual to Xuv700 Luxury But I felt the same problem in Manual gearbox while testdrive…….. Like it would’ve been only 26 lakhs rs in manual but due to this problem I am planning to buy automatic gearbox which is around 29 lakhs and also my verna has far better gear shifting in manual gearbox even when it has done 1.80 lakhs km Mahindra need to seriously work on this !!!!

Huge Respect for doing this bro. People started buying Indian brands like Tata and Mahindra just to support Vocal for Local thing. But even these companies should do their part perfectly in order to make their customers forget other foreign brands. Both the companies have respectable top management. But in the operations level, people are just not working honestly.

Glad i bought tata harrier automatic - no issues as such, fantastic car to drive. Landrover pedigree is visible across the design, hyundai gearbox is magical, mileage is above 15 at all the times….very happy with my harrier ….tata harrier is class apart at this price…

Calling yourself car enthusiast and not doing two most basic and important things before buying a car : Test drive and PDI !! All the points you mentioned would have known to you already if you have taken the test drive and also did a proper PDI. And yes the 4x4 point : 4x4 vehicles with low ratio gearbox can be shifted to 4H while driving whereas while shifting to 4L the vehicle should be stationary and wheels should be aligned straight. And yes when 4H was engaged there was a clean notification on the driving console. And regarding the position, nobody will assume it to be a volume button as buttons for the same are present near instrument cluster. Also the unstability you mentioned while hard braking is nose diving that comes with every BOF vehicles.

Your reason #1 was enough for me to reject Safari XZA+ Dark Edition at Pre-Delivery Inspection and cancel the booking. Just like you said, I didn't want to spend 27 lacs to see poor fit and finish. I'm actually surprised that you didn't do a thorough PDI and bought a Mahindra car in 1st lot, despite being a car reviewing youtuber.

I owned Scorpio top end model in 2009 for 11 L and sold it few months back because it’s 15 years life is nearing end. I never faced any fit and finish issues at all in those days . May be Mahindra is trying to chew more than it can swallow now. Now I bought a top end Crysta for 33 L and enjoying it thoroughly and its fit and finish is something Mahindra and Tata may take another 100 years to achieve as it is in another level and Toyota sets the bar very high across world. But still my old Scorpio reminds me of the good times now and then even though it was a way cheaper compared to Crysta. I wish Mahindra takes this honest review seriously and pull up their socks in fit and finish. Pls donot disappoint Scorpio die hard fans including me. My simple advise to Mahindra is , pls increase Scorpio price by few more lakhs and die hard fans would pay for it but compromise on fit and finish is unacceptable.

I also own scorpio N Z8L 4×4 manual. And the fit and finish,clutch sound,bonut rubber,horn pad,gear problem are not in my car. Also before booking the car you know that the door open side ways and the car is not highway oriented you can go for XUV 700 for that.And driving on 160 and crying for mileage my drive is on average 70-80 km/h and average is more than 18 so it's good yes camera is disappointing but it has rain sensing sunroof so it will close aromaticity when it rain

I thought my Tata Safari finishing was Okish. But looking at this video, now my car finishing and ergonomics seems to be way too good to me. I realized the value of getting some basics right atleast from Tata, comparatively.

Boot space is a very serious concern when you have 6 members in the family. Neither Mahindra nor TATA gives a damn to it. Which is quite sad. We have Kia Canres now and its very practical.

I own a Diesel N Manual Scorpio N, Seems like your dealer messed up or you got a malfunctioning car. I’ve done 2k Kms and never faced the clutch and gearing issues. The beads and dirt in the interior were cleared by my dealer promptly while delivery. It does start and move from idle in second and third as well if you can time the clutch. The steering is extremely responsive, I really feel you got a defective product. Please take it to the dealership and get it changed/fixed. For the auto cut off lights - select the centre button and it will cut off once you lock the car, if you select the sides manually it’s obvious you’ll have to shut it off. The camera points were on point, It lacks clarity and seems very fast. Others seem like nitpicking.

Most of the issues are very silly and everyone know these before itself. Inside room fitment issue only in your car. Mainly we still buy Scorpio because of stability, performance, road presence, and Mahindra engine. Still We Love Scorpio N

Heavy bumpy springs it's correct.effect on stability. But good results in slow hard core off roads. Like land cursiner and new thar. But fortuner springs is matches to this car.

I would also like to add 1 more thing being a classic scorpio owner. The AC vent Setup in Scorpio is useless for 3rd row on a hot day. I don't know why Mahindra didn't add a separate AC vent for 3rd row like XUV. I also own a Marazzo and the AC distribution is wonderfull. Same company making 2 cars but cannot understand how can they miss on this.

Very genuine review after owing a car. Nai toh log vw skoda jeep ko e negative show krte hai. Ssly arun if u have gone for meridian you would have enjoyed your car for next 5 years. Personally saying i own a jeep compass 2019 model and a polo 2014 model and touch wood without any hassle. Sirf service k ilawa kbhi service station chakar nai lga. A bit heavy on maintenance but a peace of mind is much more important if u want to keep a car for long. My polo k interiors are still as they were on day 1 and infotainment system k buttons plus steering control k buttons par se white paint tak nai utara in last 8 yrs.. c the quality level. Its not m promoting them but these things matter
