That entire bonnet situation is textbook appropriation. We (Black women) aren’t upset about white women wearing bonnets but it’s exactly as you said; an egregious double standard. For example, Black women have been wearing cornrows as a protective style FOREVER. However, we’re labeled “ghetto” for rocking them. Fast forward to present day and Caucasian women are wearing braids. Suddenly, the same styles we’ve been wearing for an eternity are now “chic”, “stylish” and “innovative”. INNOVATIVE! We know, we did it FIRST 🤯

EXACTLY!!!!!!! Girl! I was soooooo irritated! The cornrows are a perfect example!!!!! Sometimes wypipo can’t just sit back wear a style and not be the face of that style. That colonizer spirit runs deep and I can’t figure it out.

thats so true... about 5 or 6 years ago i bought my white ex BF's sister some earrings when we went on a trip to Trinidad to visit my family. That dumb ass girl told my ex that they were GHETTO (yes, she said ghetto) and that she would never be caught dead in anything like that. Fast forward to a few months ago, I saw that old bat on IG rocking a pair of those same earrings that she was putting down.

Sis, black women and white women been at hair wars since we step foot in America, and their men were memorized by all the different hair styles we wear. They got so jealous they made us wear scarfs over our hair. And we tilted them to the side and all kinds of creative beautiful styles...you know how we do...they still got jealous then they made us shave our heads. We even rocked that with style and grace. This wig looks alot better and fuller than the fingercomber unit.And you can cut the part where you want it! Beautiful unit on you and I concur with opinions on how when Caucasians do things it's not deemed ghetto but when an indigenous person does it,its ghetto or not for them ! I remember when our hair texture was not popular but now you have people changing their hair texture to make it look like ours.Oh how times have changed and also how when times change,our open enemy makes billions off of us. Not trying to be extreme but you said a mouth full!

Girl you should try FENUGREEK and MSM VITAMINS for your hair. Its supposed to grow your hair like crazy, and its cheap. I am in Canada and it $1.99, for the powder. You can find it at the Indian food store. Peace, love that wig. Plus another suggestion. I flat twist my hair along my edges, so the wig sits, on the cap and not my hair.

I love this half wig but don’t get it wet or get caught in the rain like I did 😂. I started off with half wigs too. Have you seen that they have this in a lace front version. Yes that red lip is popping. This gives me vintage glamour.

Love this wig! Love this review! And love your personality! "I need a red lip. I'll be back..." Lol! Anyway, I have been wearing this wig for about 2 weeks now and the looks I get bc of it are something else! When I first rocked it, the men looked at me like I was a steak and it was feeding time! Lol! I got so many compliments on it. And, you can't tell it's not my real hair so even some sisters give a double-take and have that look on their face where you can tell they are trying to figure out if it's live or if it's Memorex. Come thru, Boss Lady, come thru! This is the most beautiful, full, natural looking wig I have ever owned! Gorgeous! One thing to note, the hair gets gradually bigger and bigger as most synthetic wigs do but that just makes it look more sexy and voluptuous. I call it my Melanin Monroe wig!

I love your videos!🌷❤🌷 We can make our own edges. Synthetic hair is fine, but kinky or straight human hair can be applied. Apply Gorilla Sknot a few layers of hair, than apply Got2bglue to thinning hairline. Add a scarf to tie down edges!
