Ordered a sandwich at noon at the Town square in Nice France. Sat down on a bench and a lovely French girl sat down next to me just inches away. It was heavenly. She was the one that smelled like baby powder. Baby powder colognes I'm afraid would be a bit of a stretch for a man my age. Purchased a bottle of Guerlain Vetiver yesterday and boy it's good, a true timeless classic. Your reviews are pretty good.

Great video! Powdery perfumes are one of my favorite genres. I just bought Luxury which smells a little different to me but it's gorgeous. I'm currently waiting for a sample of Poudre D'Or and can't wait to try it. I'm wearing Fleur de Peau today; One of my favorite Diptyque scents.

True. Those scents are very cozy and perfect timing during the fall months to wear them. I have and adore the king of baby powder scents, Teint De Neige in EDT and EDP. The best ever.

Some of my favorite perfumes are powdery Sebastian but not many smell like baby powder. So this is a great guide for a smell of a perfume that reminds us of baby powder. Excellent video as always.

Yes, Teint de Neige! For me, it’s a rain-shower day perfume. Love it! Beige, Chanel is a bit baby powdery. I think that’s it for my powdery scents.

I get a lot of baby powder when I spray Amouage Lilac Love on my skin. I do definitely still get the lilac and chocolate, but it’s COVERED in high end baby powder. I’m usually not into powdery fragrances but the first time I wore Lilac Love on my skin I could not stop smelling my arm. It’s totally addictive and beautifully composed in my opinion. It’s clean without being screechy or too soapy; sweet without being cloying… I’m going to be buying a full bottle. It’s such a comforting fragrance for me.

Teint de Neige is the queen. I want Musc Shamal. I also recommend Soavissima Profumum Roma. These are my cold weather at home perfumes.

Thank you for doing this video Sebastian. I love powdery fragrances and baby powder scents. I have two perfumes in my collection that have a strong baby power accord -- one is a vintage perfume (1981) Ombre Rose by Jean Charles Brosseau and the other is Loukhoum Eau Poudree (2008) by Keiko Mecheri

Coming to this late; what an enjoyable video. I've been a fragrance lover since childhood but it wasn't until I began wearing JHAG Musc Invisible that the concept of a signature scent began to resonate. I will continue to wear whatever my daily mood suggests, but this one has gently captivated me.

Two powdery fragrances that I enjoy are Tabac Eau de Cologne and Boucheron's Jaipur (EDP a little bit more than the EDT). Yes, too bad we don't have access to the Nivea fragrance here in the U.S. It sounds like something I would also enjoy. Thank you for another great video!

Sometimes you just want to smell like baby-powder! I am sooo getting some Teint de Neige! Even though I have to be in the mood for this type of scent...there is something classy and vintagey about powdery fragrances. In your Zoologist Chipmunk video I listed some of my favorites - Nightingale is in the top 5 for me and it is a very powdery scent - Not quite baby powder - more like cosmetic, scented face powder...But, still gives me a similar vibe. Etat Libre D' Orange has 2 great powdery fragrances that are more boudoir but again - might be perceived as baby powder like: Bijou Romantique and Putain Des Palaces...Thanks for doing this one! There are two notes I am obsessing over at the moment and those are ylang ylang and heliotrope...And Heliotrope IS the powder note! xoxox

Not a fan of baby powder perfumes but I do enjoy Mizensir Luxury. I got a sample and kept wondering “what is that soft powder smell?” It was me 🙃 It is indeed very cosy. Valentino Donna is also an Iris powder bomb, a bit screechy and not as refined.

Powdery fragrances are amazing. Prada infusion iris edt smells like baby powder to my nose. I douse it on my bed sheets. Clean & cozy smelling.

Finally!!! I am validated by someone who also thinks lheure bleu smells like baby powder. I love lheire blue but most people do not include baby powder when they're describing it. ( i should say the scent we now associate with baby powder)

Tent de Neige is the powderiest powdery powder bomb there is. My second runner up would be Guerlain L'Instant Magic. Both are overwhelmingly powdery on me. My favorite powdery perfume to wear is Mauboussin Histoire de Femme Sensuelle, it's a powdery milky musky rose marzipan. It's so underrated, put your nose on it if you haven't. It's cozy fresh warm sweet, but still clean feeling. Nothing like it. L'Heure Bleue is such a classic, it exists outside of time. :)

Oh my. He actually heard my request! A lot want the comforting scent of baby powder. The cheapest but most talcum-like scent that i had was Monotheme Talc Doceur. Unfortunately, it’s hard to find.

My favourite powdery fragrance is Ortigia Sicilia Mandorla (Almond), which is created by Lorenzo Viloresi. All Ortigia fragrances are created by him, I guess it’s another one if those overlooked brands. But a definite hidden gem for those who know.

Here in Europe there’s a literally baby cologne mania (Vogue published an article about it) I tried a couples of them and yes, they works, confortables, cozy and cheap. After that my next purchase of “clean” fragrances (adult mode) was Mosquito by Comporta and Eclix by Tiziana Terenzi. Also love Blanche by Byredo and Couleur Primaire by Les Eaux Primordiales.

I think I am the only one who does not find Orpheon all that powdery. It gives off a completely different vibe to me. If powder is in there, its way way tucked behind everything else, I smell the juniper berries more than anything. As for Frederic Malle’s powdery scents, try Iris Pourdre.

They actually do Cary Nivea products in the states but it mostly consists of body lotions, I see alot of them in discount stores.

So weird! I just got a large sample of Sakura from Maison Christian Dior and i think it smells like baby powder!, with a hint of Japan. It reminds me of makeup I would have bought when I lived in Okinawa. It is a light and fresh baby powder for sure. Anyway, great video and timely for me! More to try!!

Hi ! You're talking about one of my favorite category in perfume ... I have L'heure bleue and Fleur de peau . Both are magnificient , classy and comforting . Personnaly I wear them at any time of fhe year ! Cerruti 1881 for women (Cerruti ) and L'air du temps ( Nina Ricci ) are also very powdery , more than L'heure bleue and Fleur de peau , very elegant ....

I love baby scents, in Mexico we have this amazing smelling baby fabric softner which starts a bit citrusy, flowerish and sopy, then develops to a musky, cozy almost lactonic scent that stays days in clothes, bed sheets and your skin. I wonder if any of these will get a similar vibe to it, thank you.

Hope by Frances Denney is out of production. I wore it in the 70's and wish to find it, but sadly not. I thought of trying to find something similar or possibly a copy with another name. Anyone else think '1725 Histoire de Parfums' smells like baby powder? Yes, the powderiness is brought on mainly by the almonds but it feels more baby-powdery than gourmand-y to me.
