I really love the pacing of this!! I already knew most of this so it was more just affirmation than anything, but I am still saving this in my filmmaking playlist, simply because it's a very well put together refresher, that I can watch in a short amount of time before I got out on shoots, to keep the concepts fresh in my brain! DO NOT use 24fps unless you are filming something to go to a streaming service like Netflix etc. When posting in KZfaq, your 24fps video will have Un-Cinematic "Judder" (Jitter) because KZfaq does not provide a 3:2 pulldown like Netflix to make your video play smooth. Your 24fps video will be playing on standard monitors or modern TVs which are 30/60fps causing the display to pause 6 times per second while waiting for the next frame to fill in for the missing frame, simple math. Always use 30/60fps and use a 1/50 shutter (220-280 degree shutter angle for 30fps) for the same motion blur as 24fps. And, Gimbals are so cheap these days, why use a cumbersome Glide-Cam.

"Shutter-angle" is a setting in true "Video" cameras that automatically sets the shutter speed relative to the frame-rate. A stills-photography centric camera with optional video recording capability will normally not have "shutter-angle" as a means of setting the shutter-speed, this is only a feature in true video cameras. increasing the shutter-angle decreases the shutter speed in video cameras. A 180 degree shutter-angle is the default setting which will give a shutter speed of 1/48 with a 24fps frame-rate. At 30fps, a higher shutter-angle setting of 220-280 for video cameras gives a slower shutter-speed setting relative to the frame-rate which will add more motion-blur. If you don't have a shutter-angle setting, using a "shutter priority" setting of 1/50 will give similar motion-blur results as using 24fps with a 180 degree shutter-angle. Slower shutter-speeds will also reduce powerline frequency difference light-pulsing and is the means by which modern digital cameras can reduce "artificial-light flickering." Hope this answers your question.
