Disney animated movies are the whimsical tales both kids and grown-ups love. With their special combination of child-like wonder and adult insight, Disney’s movies offer a winning combination of entertainment and heart. However, according to some fans, these movies aren’t nearly as innocent as they seem. In this video, we’re delving into the dark and disturbing theories that fans have come up with to explain different Disney films. We have theories about films from all eras of Disney including Peter Pan and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Aladdin and The Little Mermaid, and Frozen and Wreck-It-Ralph. And these theories aren’t for the faint of heart. They involve everything from the post-apocalypse, to the real identities behind the characters, to who was responsible for the tragic ends of key characters. Some of them even involve unexpected connections between films like Tangled and Snow White, or Tarzan and Frozen. When I was 6 I wrote a sequel to Snow White all about the Dwarfs finding a space time-warping stone while mining and it created 7 more dwarves with other names. There were some funny ones, like Nose Picker. I had a weird childhood

@@nocturnalanimals5884 Not to mention in the time it takes Tarzan to grow into adulthood the world shifts from sailing vessels to steamers, a ship type never seen within Frozen, an Arendelle is not a backwater kingdom so they would have steamers for cargo & navel vessels if they took place at the same time as Tarzan. Just so everyone understands a few things, the movie starts in the 1860's and when Tarzan and Jane finally meet it's the 1880's. The main portion of Frozen happens roughly in the 1840's. So for Anna & Elsa's parents to be Tarzan's parents they would have had to survive a shipwreck somewhere near Denmark, made it to Britain (not be recognized by any other royal court as the missing Arendelle King & Queen which seeing as almost every royal court knew each other, especially in Europe that's not likely), magically not look an older within the 20 years it takes for them to have Tarzan & have extremely bad luck with ships as they sail past Africa.

Okay to explain why King Candy merged with the Cybug instead of dying: You will remember that King Candy is actually Turbo, who has become a sort of virus. You will also remember that Calhoun said that the Cybugs were more like a virus than a character in a video game. So when the cybug ate King Candy, the two viruses merged and became one super virus. Making the theory that Calhoun killed her fiancé, completely irrelevant

The problem with some of these theories, mostly the relationship ones, is that the costumes and some other things in the movies indicate the characters are from different eras in time.

As for the Peter Pan thing, I read this comment somewhere that peter was taking the kids to heaven(never land) where they’d never grow up aka their dead because when your dead you never grow up. Something like that, he was an angel not the grim reaper. Just thought I’d say that

Calhoun didn't kill her fiance, king candy was a glitch and since the cyber bug things were from a different game, when king candy was eaten, he glitched and they morphed.

I've always held the belief that Yzma (Emperor's New Groove) is who Hades (Hercules) got his potion from. Based only on the fact that Yzma is basically ancient and all her potions are pink. Not a super strong connection, but stronger than some of the ones in the video.

Shaving an animals fur removes it as many strands. Killing and skinning an animal means all the hair is together, on a nice lump of leather. You can't wear shaved fur. Wool can be worn though, it is different :)

Lauren Powley that’s not really how that works. Sheep are the only animals who need to be shaved. Other animals have fur that insulates. Both to keep warm and to keep cool.

I love the Christopher Robin is schizophrenic theory because the books mention that Pooh is a stuffed toy, so the rest probably are too, and so (because this is movie/cartoon grade schizophrenia) he's having delusions/hallucinations that they move. Another theory. Christopher Robin's father is a Psychiatrist/Psychologist, and the toys are his dad trying to explain the different disorders his patients have to his son, because he'll want to ask questions

Frozen 2 just made a mockery of several of these theories. I personally was a fan of the whole ship on its way to the wedding when it sank theory, so I was rather shocked to discover it did, indeed, crash but it never sank.

The Wreck-It-Ralph theory with Calhoun isn’t even a theory because ever since Ralph entered Hero’s Duty, you are already aware that those bugs turn into what they eat. It was then supported with King Candy’s transformation at the end of the movie.

Aladdin is from B.C., cause of the crossover of Hercules episode. That's not King Candy, it was the other character. I think Rapunzel is a cousin to Elsa and Anna. Cause they all from the same year. Tarzan is not the brother to Elsa and Anna. And that scene of Aladdin at the end of the video. It is similar to The Lion King.

Rapunzel's mother is also Elsa's mother, and after Rapunzel got taken away, they kept Elsa a secret and sent her to the neighboring kingdom, where Anna's parents lived. After she was sent there, she was raised as one Anna's older sister. When Anna's parents went to go see Rapunzel's wedding, they got stuck in a storm, (which Prince Eric and coincidentally, the Dukes in Cinderella are on). Eric survived thanks to Ariel, and Anna's parents swam to safety, and built a tree house, where they had Tarzan, and his eventual love interest, Jane, is a decendant of Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Also, the flower that Rapunzel and Elsa's mom consumes sprouted because of Hercules little drop of sunshines self, eventual love interest, Meg, is actually mother Gothel from the past, and she has been surviving for hundreds of years, so that's why she was so keen on Rapunzel not dating (or doing anything in the outside world, really), so that she wouldn't get her heart broken, or get hurt/die from the worlds cruelty. Also, in Hercules, we see him stepping over Scar's carcass, which means that the Lion King happend before Hercules, which was in ancient Greece. So that's fun...

The Frozen and Tarzan connection theory has been debunked by fans using math and evidence from the movies. Long explanation short: Anna and Elsa's parents had to have been lost at sea on their way home from the wedding for about 30 or so years, and Tarzan's parents looked way too young for that to be the case.

I like the theory that mother Gothel was Meg from Hercules, she wasn't originally using the flower for her looks though, she thought that she could bring Hercules back to her, instead it just made her younger, so she kept using the flower for youth as she kept looking for other ways to possibly bring back Hercules. That would also explain why she always left Rapunzel alone for long periods of time, only coming back for short times to restore her youth.

After seeing Frozen 2, we can now see that Elsa and Anna's parents did not die trying to go to Rapunzel and Eugene's wedding. They died looking for answers to Elsa's powers. Also the ship washed pretty far up onto the shore in the North, making it true that the ship never sank to the sea like the ship in The Little Mermaid. On another note, Else went to the frozen river, Ahtohallan, to find the truth of her birth and the past of the enchanted forest and Arendale - but also discovered her family's past. I'm sure if the events of her parents washing up on the shore of a jungle, having another baby (Tarzan), and then died being eaten were true, something of that sort would have showed up as well, since that was in the past. This makes a lot of what people speculate untrue, and the movie connections might not as certain as many believe. Those who still think they're connected can believe it, but i'll be happy knowing most stories aren't quite linked as they had me thinking before. I'd like to think Frozen is it's own story, anyway.

Another theory is that Rapunzel and Elsa were sisters. They both have have some type of power, Rapunzel has healing and Elsa has ice. They both look similar- they have light colored hair and Rapunzel's parents have green and blue/grey eyes, and they are obviously princesses. Elsa could be biological Rapunzel's sister. Also that would explain why the king and queen in frozen don't really know how to handle Elsa's powers. Rapunzel's parents know about her powers, but what if she had a sister who had ice powers. Maybe her parents were worried about her powers hurting her sister when she was a baby, so they sent her to her cousin Anna's house where she could grow up without knowledge of her powers. Maybe when Anna's parents were going back to Rapunzel's parents they died. But in the end, both women learn to harness their powers for the better.
