I have ADHD, so easily tend to have my desk get a bit chaotic, but I have gotten into the very good habit of regularly stopping to put things away, and every day when I'm finished at my desk a quick put away means that I start with a clear desk the next day. It is so much easier to concentrate when I don't have clutter on my desk. I use one of those Ikea style trolleys next to my desk for my jars of pens, notebooks and so forth, which can be easily rolled out of the way when not in use. It also keeps the surface of my desk nice and clear. On a different note, that pink top looks so pretty on you. Definitely your colour.

I make Mondays my paperwork day. Pay bills, mail cards, file paperwork. Our weekends are so busy that it is nice to have a quiet day.

My desk is almost exactly like yours! It’s longer, two file cabinets and my husband bought the top(wood) sanded and put a clear coat on it, I love it! I do the same all mail etc I drop in there then once a week I shred the mail , put things in their place and pay my bills😊

My craft room is my problem spot. I also keep my laptop here and I tend to reach inside the door and drop items onto its desk. I've run out of storage space in this room so I have to be careful what I bring into it. Ugh!
