15 Mistakes In Minions The Rise Of Gru You Missed

We love our little Minions despite their clumsiness, dorkiness, and the fact that they are prone to cause property damage. They are impulsive creatures with little self-control, but with a wide-eyed wonder and odd innocence that endears them to viewers and makes them relatable. They can be pesky when they are doing weird interactions with other people, animals, or objects; they are also famous for their gibberish-speaking language dubbed minionese. The Minions have been fumbling around our movie screens since their debut as Gru’s helpers in Despicable Me which came out in 2010. Since then, they’ve starred in Despicable Me 2 (2013), Minions (2015), Despicable Me 3 (2017), and now in the sequel to Minions, Minions: Rise of Gru. They’ve been animated every which way for over and decade, and in that time our little buddies have not been the only ones to make some mistakes. We love their movies despite the errors the hard working animators make while bringing them to life! But we don’t feel soooo bad that we won’t list them, so please enjoy these Kevin-sized mistakes.

Fun fact: when gru stole the crown it was 1968 but in rise of gru is in 1976 in the film probably forgot lol😂

5:48 I personally imagine that at some point, Gru was invited to vector's birthday... Where he said something that gru disliked and caused him to pull out a freeze ray. Freezing vector in ice, maybe even it was a stronger harder to melt/break ice. That took years to thaw out or even break. Keeping vector technically younger. Which would also explain why the bank manager would keep financing gru.. So that when his son is thawed out, he can still keep an eye on gru so that he can hint vector in on any evil to commit to best him.

7:23 the candyland dice has a 3 and a 4 next to eachother right when hes saying there is no 3 next to a 4 on a dice

2:21 those are called smear frames, it is a traditional method used by animators to make certain actions seem smoother. It is used as an alternative to motion blur :)

The nun chuck “mistake” was actually an attempt to animate it spinning. I mean that’s what a nunchucks whole thing is.

During the movie the part where Master Chow was teaching kevin, stuart and bob kung fu the part where they were balancing on a log on the sea when stuart sat down to eat I saw his lunch box which had the name of Scarlet OverKill and had a picture of her too.

There is actually more There is a scene where gru and minions eating ice cream at the gym where they showing the people who doing exercise them eating,at first glance The top of the ice cream was avocado or green ice cream,few seconds later,it was switched that the top ice cream is a mango or yellow now

if anyone has noticed that who has watched minions rise of Gru that in minions ending scene ,Gru freezed scarlet witch with a freeze ray.if anyone has noticed that at that time gru doesn't know doctor Nefario.eyeryone has noticed that in shop gru used cheese ray on people to get ice cream because in minions he didn't have freeze ray because at that time he didnt know dr nefario and freeze ray one of the inventions of dr nefario

In the movie Minions, Gru was shown having the shrink ray before meeting the minions. In the rise of Gru, Gru was shown not having the shrink ray before Dr. Nefario gave it to him even though the movie Minions was taken place earlier than the Rise of Gru.

0:51 the reason why we don't see the magazines is because of the screen perspective and it shows the very edge of the table rather than half of the table so that would be the reason

A mistake missed: in the minions movie u can see gru and his mom is looking at dr nefario but in the rise of gru he meets nefario again acting like he did not remember him in the other movie when he met the minions at the end

The biggest mistake in the movie: Otto was never present in Minions, Despicable Me, Despicable Me 2, and Despicable M3, but appears in Minions: Rise Of Gru. 5:22 Well the picture differs from the first movie most notably the hair of Mr. Perkins

When the minion was coming into San Francisco through the Golden Gate Bridge, the way he came in would mean he went all the way around San Francisco and then into the bridge. Kind of a waste of time

When I saw that in the 2022 movie, I simply thought the Minions were actively looking for Gru from the moment they met him until they saw his ad and then tracked down his address. Minions are so excited to be accepted by Gru because they've admired him since he stole the crown, not when they saw the ad.

Actually strong hold is holding crab claw and crab claw grabbing vicious 6 so he’s not a fast guy he just move to stop the bat guy from flying

Is this scene 3:02 the villain in blue was pulling someone another villian audition for 6th place for the vicious 6 and the guy who was auditioning for the spot he has a jet pack that mulfunction so all the 5 members catch the guy who was auditioning with a chain attach on the guy so they pulled him and he was too heavy so they moved spot like a tug of war pulling the chains in a line

Does nobody know how to properly say dr.nefarios name? It's ne-FAR-io not ne-fair-io. Gru and tons of other characters say his name Ne-FAR-io tins of times across the span of every movie. He'll, even the clip you showed of nefario after the mistake,he clearly says his name.
