I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my inherited portfolio of about $2.5m. I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the current rollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio. I’m really worried about survival after retirement.

True, I mostly just buy and hold stocks, but my portfolio has been mostly in the red for quite awhile now. Unfortunately to be able to make good gains, you’ll need to be consistent and restructure your portfolio frequently.

It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.

Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘Carol Vivian Constable’for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

Very true, people downplay advisors role, until burnt by their mistakes. I remember just after my layoff early 2020 amidst covid outbreak, I needed to stay afloat, hence researched for license advisors. Thankfully, I came across someone of practical knowledge, and decades of experience, my stagnant reserve of $325K has yielded nearly $1m after subsequent investments so far.

Because of dividends, I first began investing in stocks. It's important, in my opinion, to be able to live off of dividends without selling if you invest and make other income in addition to payouts. It suggests that you may pass that down to your kids and give them a leg up in life. Over the years, I've invested over $600k in dividend stocks; I continue to buy more today and will keep doing so until the price drops even further.

Hearing from an experienced investor who has survived adversity and prevailed is always motivating. It may be frightening when your portfolio goes from green to red, but if you have invested in strong firms, you should maintain growing them and stick to your goal.

I wholeheartedly concur, which is why I appreciate giving an investment coach the power of decision-making. Given their specialized expertise and education, as well as the fact that each and every one of their skills is centered on harnessing risk for its asymmetrical potential and controlling it as a buffer against certain unfavorable developments, it is practically impossible for them to underperform. I have made over 1.5 million dollars working with an investment coach for more than two years.

Even with the right technique and assets some investors would still make more than others. As an investor, you should've known that by now that nothing beats experience and that's final. Personally I had to reach out to a stock expert for guidance which is how I was able to grow my account close to $35k, withdraw my profit right before the correction and now I'm buying again.

I agree, I'm into real estate too, I started dabbling into stocks and crypto due to it's liquid nature, made some pretty decent cash and I went all in. Didn't know much about stock/crypto, hence, I made an avoidable mistake and lost all of my gains that same year. Came by a coach commended by an associate, we connected. It's been 3years and counting following her guidance and I've made over 4million dollars, so yea definitely $20million is obtainable in 13years.

I made the huge mistake leaving home at 17 and trying to change the world. I was stubborn and foolish and ended up being taken advantage of. Consequently it's been difficult to regain the ground I lost, and at 45 I am still struggling to make a mark. My advice is as the presenter noted, in your early days, focus on yourself and no one else. The reality is, one has to build their own fort first before they can storm another, otherwise one is left open to the dangers of the unscrupulous.

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life too 🙏🙏🙏

I think it’s brilliant to use brokerage advisor for investing! Prior to speaking with an advisor I was actually suffering an investing nightmare during the economic crash in March 2020. In summary, with the help of my advisor, I have so far grown my initial $120k investment to over $550k

I’d recommend investing in good projects after DYOR and DCA rather than going all in at once to ensure a good average. I don’t buy /trade just for the sake of it ,instead I sought the advice of a fiduciary financial advisor, Jessica Katherine Ellis who guides me through the process, I made £70,000 profits in my portfolio in Q2 2022

Getting Wealthy is a journey that takes time, patience and a little investment of money. It also will require commitment, passion, persistence, perseverance and hard work. To get something, we may have to give up something, meaning sacrificing the time spent with family or friends. In the end everything will work out just fine, as long as we stay the course and are moving forward.

At a library, study the doctoral theses on film making 4. Work in the film industry and create really great movies 5. My father taught me how to play chess, and life is like chess. You have to plan 5 to 6 steps ahead. Even though I have a health issue at the moment, it's just a small hiccup. I am still on my plan, and I am on step 2. Step 3 is just 2 days away, and step 4 is only 3 months from now. Step 5, and 6 is automatic like castling your King. And that's that.
