J'ai trouvé la définition de l'expression "tu m'étonnes" "étonnante" étant donné que "étonnant" signifie plutôt "surprendre." Donc, même si je parle couramment, y'a tjrs des choses à apprendre :) Merci.

Can these expressions be used in the same way with vous if you are not tutoyering someone...or would that sound weird? Vous parlez! Vous m'étonnez!

Oui, mais c'est moins courant, vu que ce sont des expressions assez familières.

Est-ce que ce qu'il faut d'incluir le 'bien' avec 'qu'est-ce ca peut bien me faire? Ces expressions sont tres utiles. Merci.

I really enjoyed this video. I do have une petite question. I am wondering if you have made a mistake. Maybe. Maybe not. Qu’est-ce qui te prend (NO s at the end). I’m interested to know your thoughts on this. Merci d’avance. Amitiées. Victoria

Bonjour Victoria, très bonne question ! If the TU was the subject of the sentence, as in "Qu'est-ce que tu prends ?", then yes, you would need an S there. But in this sentence, the subject is "Qu'est-ce qui", which is the 3rd person singular, therefore you don't need one. I am glad you mentioned it though, because I do make typos now and then :)

Wow. These are great. I’m using living languages ultimate French Advanced. I’m going France in a month! So I’m able to read French script. However I can’t listen without a script well and I can’t formulate my own conversation. Any tips?

Have a look at what this guy did -i don't believe he is fluent, but he got really good in 30 days (he did a lot of listening and talking to get there): kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eNuVY5ietbbTdqs.htmlsi=OKgxYk_m0N8ptd8_

@@ClearlyFrench ok thanks a lot. I’m using a combination of living languages, colloquial and linguaphone. I can say one thing is that my reading using these tools has become shockingly well for someone who did not study French in highschool. I will now try actually making conversation from my mind on camera like he said. Thanks

@@ClearlyFrench thanks. (Well it’s a secret actually) I’m actually going to take the French foreign legion selection tests. So now I’m sleeping with linguaphone French on at night and practicing speaking. Thanks

Hello can I say. tu n'avais qu'à me dire que tu viens plus chez moi ?
@ClearlyFrench
@ClearlyFrench 2 ай бұрын
If you use the past tense "avais", then the rest has to also be in the past tense, so you would say "Tu n'avais qu'à me dire que tu ne venais plus chez moi".
