Another super cool feature, when on countdown mode, after it hits 0, the next dart resets the counter, but then after a few mags you can switch to count up mode and still get your total number of darts you've fired, then switch back to countdown. I like that you can go back and forth without it resetting. Useful and powerful

It's cool that Nerf put this out. I have access to a real chronograph but for those who dont have a very inexpensive way to test their full length dart blaster performance

I used mine on the Elite 2.0 Turbine with various types of darts. A couple double fired an AccuStrike ZombieSstrike combo. It read 400fps. I wish it did the average that would put this over the top. as it stands you can make a ballpark guess. It makes the front heavier but not unwieldy. I used it with the Rapidstrike (needs new batteries at 25-35 fps lol). It was a tight fit on the Turbine but it works. (Barrel extensions on that on the other hand are loose). Bad design Hasbro. I also like the countdown feature it looks like the ammo counters in the movie Aliens. I was able to handhold the Chrono shooting a variety of Jolts it fired thru and read well.

many people say the single detector inside the barrel will not accurately record shorter darts. Will it still work with the ekind waffles?

Have you tried hand-holding it in front of any Nerf dart blaster just for kicks to see readings for Jolts, Strongarm cylinder style and Air restrictor styles etc I only have the RapidStrike with a barrel attachment. I might pick up the reskinned AccuStrike Stratohawk on sale. I have 4 Jolts, 2 MicroShots, 1 Triad. 1 Strongarm, 1 Strongarm XD, 1 Distruptor, 1 Zombie FlipFire. 2 Zombie Quadrots and 1 Alternator. 1 Elite 2.0 Volt. So I would get some fun mileage out of it. It would be nice to have an average velocity but that's programming memory so I can see for $15-20 why it's not a feature. You can guess an average. Coops video shows it reads a little higher than a real chrono.

#fft I'm most interested in the ammo counter feature- I have a loadout that involves a Regulator with an ammo counter, but unfortunately, the one I own uses up the barrel attachment point and the only rail on top of the Regulator. That's a problem when I want to run the Zoom Scope on top for infrared, with my IR flashlight on the bottom rail. Now I can have both the ammo counter AND my night-vision setup going at the same time.

#FFT That it is accurately comparing other nerf blasters and shows if your batteries are needing to be switched. Also you get an extra feature which is the ammo counter which was way more expensive if bought from an aftermarket company PS: I bought the Chronobarrel and and Evader at the same time about two weeks ago. Saw them on the shelf and couldn’t resist! Only gripe is that the orange plastic on the chrono doesn’t exactly match the all clear look of the evader. It’s aight though. Just wish it was all clear as well. Guess the orange will help streamline the look with other blasters that have orange on them though

Yup. Im from southern California, they are flying off the shelf. Most stores around here stock 4 at the most. I bought 2 at a local Wal-Mart and went back and they were all gone. Havent found them at any other Target or Wal-Mart since. Amazon is listing them for $30+ and that's ridiculous!
