That makes sense since there is no railing on the side where you would hit the balls.

Yeah but it's location would just mash all the balls into the river which makes little sense. Odd placement

@@why_wait There are actual real world driving ranges with floating balls. A river with moving water would probably not be ideal but 2 possible solutions do come to mind. The first is many businesses in Fallout are just plain evil and would not care about polluting the water. Second is a legit company could have some sort of floating containment barrier like the ones used to control oil spills.

My take on the various cars in trees is that they were blown off by the pressure wave of the atomic blasts. Or the collisions that happened on the expressways immediately afterwards. Or there is always the possibilities of tornados or violent storms that would have been common right after the exchange of missiles.

(0:35) I regularly see a Mirelurk Queen in the Linwood area, west and north of Breakheart Banks. (0:55) It looks like there's a radioactive barnacle right next to the dead soldier's head. If I'm right, those can spew a nasty spray of radioactive water. (5:00) Much of the radiation contaminating this water comes from the Mass Fusion Containment Shed, which does a terrible job of containment.

That is a Giant spawn point. That Mirelurk Queen will always be there once you are at a high enough level like Salem, Lexington and Carhenge

@abriannaaguilera2123 the cars in the tree he talked about early in the video? It's not just a "Giant." It's specifically a Supermutant Behemoth. They're a different class of supermutant, and they have specific spawn points while ML queens have others.

Shame they didn't make bunkers / houses into player homes - i get the settlement building concept but the idea of being a lone wanderer needing a secure player home is also a good idea

I have just come across this video and had to retrace my steps through this area to locate this bunker. As soon as I left the car tree and headed towards the capsized boat a Mirelirk Queen erupted from the water and sprayed me with the acidic spit. It took 3 shots and 3 missiles to take her down. I've only been playing since Oct 2023 and this is the first video game I've played ever in my life. Im very impressed with all the new things and places I've discovered on my own and with the assist I get from your videos. The 15 Cannonball, the Saugus Bunker and Salem Witchcraft Hollow Rock were things I never would have found in my own just bc I don't know where to look or it would never occur to me to look for a bunker in the middle of nowhere like here, at the trailer park and under the shed at the subdivision site. I'm 52 yo and I feel like a kid when I find the leopard print bandana. I have 3 of them now. Keep the vids coming.

The facility that you identified as being for sunbathing looks to me like a golf driving range - except that hitting perfectly good golf balls into the river seems silly.

In the Car tree there is often a sniperrifle. You can shoot it down . It is to the side of the campfire.

I'm in the exact spot where you said the Gunner tank was and there's no Gunner tank I have a master locked safe and a pickup truck with toxic waste in it but no Gunner tank

The two radscorps are scripted. I always do a trial run through there before heading to Parsons with Jack Cabot, in case his pathing (which can be a bit erratic) takes him that way. Bioshock and many other games also used 0451 as a code. A nod to Ray Bradbury.

Definitely a driving range. There is a double decker driving range in Scottsdale Arizona. If you are on the top deck and have an excellent drive you can hit the local DMV (MVD as is called locally) parking lot.

@@ThomasXplores The rubber mats make me think it was a driving range (you have a rubber mat holding a tee rather than dirt. If there had been a chaisse lounger, I'd agree that it was for catching sun (weird for Boston to have sun and outdoor conditions but whatever).

What's the deal with those big barnacles - like on the boat with the grenades in the box. Not sure about the main game but in I think Far Harbour they blow something at you and there is an "Activate" prompt.
