And they wonder why most US soldiers have the mindset of soldiers for hire. Most of us who join the military join for financial gain . We're not interested in the politics we're here to get paid. If soldiers could get paid well to guard a Walmart we would probably do that. But it's about money. Always has been. Sure the public image is patriotic but the reality is most of us are from the working class and joined for the better paycheck.

One important point that Lux forgot in this video is addiction: society wants you to become addicted. To alcohol, tobacco, prescribed drugs or illegal narcotics, gambling, social media, video gaming, the internet, shopping, watching TV etc. An addiction keeps your brain occupied, numbs your common sense and empties your wallet. This will make it easy for society to have you under control.

We are programmed into a mass psychosis of conformity and obedience. Perhaps because we've been preconditioned subconsciously to believe that social integration and acceptence is a safety net of survival, when its the opposite. We came into this world and will exit this world ALONE. Self validation and approval is all you need. Love YOU and conform only to your idea of life. In the end, everyone else will be irrelevant.

The stupidest thing that I have heard from the society and, my teachers specifically, is that it is impossible for a person to have two extreme skills. Like you can never be analytical or calculative and kind or compassionate at the same time, you cannot like English and Economics, you cannot ride a motor bike or kawasaki and know how to dance soft ballet, you have to choose one thing or the other.

"don't make mistakes! it's shameful, it's bad" this is what society teaches kids and this is the way of thinking they use when they are already adults, they try to not make any mistakes, therefore, they are scared to learn how to walk, just in case, they fall. This is why the majority of people don't succeed, this is why they are poor. they are scared of making mistakes. they don't understand that it's okay to make mistakes, that it's an important thing to do, because THIS IS HOW YOU LEARN. this is how you reach perfection. this is how you grow and develop. by learning and analyzing your and others mistakes. step by step, by falling and rising up again. this is how you became a WINNER.

OMG. This is so true. That's why I was never really liked by my coworkers when I say that I have a degree, don't have loans, and don't have kids. I was totally not following the society's rules. On top of that, I would always brag about the coupons I used and discounts I got for clothes, shoes, and groceries. That made people to not want to talk to me. I am definitely one of the people who don't obey the society's rules. That's why I have created a video called "14 things with America's Education System" It is somewhat similar to this video.

In hindsight, I function much better single than I did married. Society pushed the idea that I needed to be married and have kids to be viewed as a success. To the contrary, I much prefer my life post divorce and with grown out of the house children. To both sexes, think long and hard before committing to marriage and a family. Marrying poorly can be the undoing of you.

Just want to say that if you want kids, I suggest doing so before 40. Risk of the fetus having various issues goes up, as does complications of birth. Its also much harder to keep up with the demands of the baby. The chances of getting (and staying) pregnant are significantly reduced, and without much time to intervene. Not saying has to be your 20s but your 40s is taking a big risk.

The flip side is 17 is peak fertility for women and after 25 rapidly drops so waiting past 35 means expensive treatments that usually don’t work. One way to have both would be to retire by 30 to focus full time on kids. Society won’t suggest this

I’m not a million, extremely far from it…but society lead me to believe at one point that more money meant a happier life. WRONG, more money meant I was the same person in living in a better part of town. Honest truth, I finally broke into extremely low 6 figure income and my wife is really close to it. We have no kids and I can tell you, honestly, we’re no happier at close to $200k dual income than we were when we were $100k dual income. Same people in a bigger house that I hate cleaning most day and a nicer car that requires premium gasoline that I hate paying for. We’re not miserable by any mean but going from $100k dual income to almost $200k hasn’t changed one dang thing. I won’t say that money is overrated but society has convinced folks (myself as well at one point) that the more you have of it the more important and happier you’ll be…which is a complete LIE!

Nice! One career is not the only thing that an individual can be destined for! After mastering the second thing (only the first needs 10k hours), the third and fourth become much easier. Totally different sectors. Basically you’re learning how to learn. Albeit very very well, but still learning none-the-less. Cross-platforming is almost essential now. Being different makes ya stick out like a sore thumb though and they WILL try to take you out. They will try to fight you on your ground, and you will win, then they will join you. Kid you not. But often times they will join you on their ground. So aren’t we all!!! Change the future people!!! It’s right now!!!

Not sure if I fully agree with number 6. Paying off a home sucks at times but it's harder for someone to remove you from your property. Compare that to renting andddd..... You can be evicted because the landlord doesn't like you, if you mad a bad deal and don't know your protections, insane rent increases are probable. It's pretty split down the middle honestly, if you buy a home you can afford and not the one that makes you look "ultra-rich" when your really broke, you should be ok.

Well, I was sure that I would never agree about anything with this narrator. That just changed this minute. I agree with just about everything this lady said in this video. All that this lady said, it took me decades to see and feel the importance of what this woman narrator just got through explaining in this video. I never could like the education system in its present form. I certainly became a non conformist. For example, I really dont care much for a brand new car. I hope to find and purchase a fully restored 1963 Pontiac Grand Prix. At any rate my ambition is to be a tobacco farmer. To all you out there, believe in yourself and never abandon your dreams. To the narrator of this video, you are also very special and important.

I had people in my life - extended family, work colleagues - who kept wanting me to get married and/or have kids. Grandparents who wanted me to get married make them GREAT Grandparents; work colleagues who didn’t even care if I was married, but who wanted me to have kids like they did. I was barely in my mid-20s and not even done with college. And they would all get these weird and sometimes resentful looks when I would tell them I had ZERO interest in getting married before I was 30 (and that if I never met someone who I wanted to marry I was fine with that - I wasn’t going to settle for anyone just because), and that I didn’t have any desire to have kids either. 15 years later, still not married, still no kids and I 100% happy I didn’t conform to the wishes of people around me. I chose a different path, still hard but, if I could do it again I would. THAT is the reward. To look back at choices you made and know you made the right one and have no regrets for them.

Rather a conspiratorial tone in this video. Alux: they want you to be afraid to control you. They want you to buy more stuff. I agree with 90% of this video, with one exception. Schooling, I still believe and know that education is not a waste of time. If you are in school and you are not learning how to learn, then you are clearly doing it wrong. An education provides the opportunity to network, to work with peers in your profession and have the credentials to prove that you capable of doing the work. That is not worthless, doing that yourself just takes longer because you are on your own without a guide, coach, or mentor. I will also say this, the things that society loves to try and force on people. Things like men should drink, smoke, do drugs, and have sex to be "part of the group" or to "be a man" or to "not be a pussy" is something that was pushed on me at a very early age. However these things do not interest me at all, I am and have always been happier pursuing my own things. Surprise, surprise having that insight early in my life has propelled me further than most. Did I try to stop their fun? No, it is their own lives to live. However if I want to have the dignity and respect to live my life to the fullest, the least I can do is leave everyone else to live their lives to the fullest as well. Great Video! Looking forward to seeing, watching, and hearing more!
