yeees. Curly you are such a blessing to this channel. Salvadorans are soooo underrepresented in media and I like seeing things I can relate to. I'm only half Salvadoran but that part of me is always thirsting for content. :))

I currently moved to Spain and I have to travel 5 hours to get pupusas in Madrid! My salvy family lives in Brentwood, Long Island AKA El Salvador #2. So I definitely feel homesick from time to time. I'm Mexican and we have jocotes too, but we call them ciruelas. Anyway, that is the most delicious fruit ever. So fragrant and sweet! There's a local raspado shop in my neighborhood that makes jocote raspados and I get one at least once a week lol.
