Even though I'm not rich I always have loved VW and Porsche I finally bought my 2004 Porsche 9114S and I can't drive it enough maybe one day I'll have my collection of Porsches.

I have two Porsches, a 911 GT3 RS which is my favourite, and a 718 Cayman S, which is my daily driver. So you know, Porsche has won Le Man 19 times, last in June 2017, three years in a row with the 919.

I've had 5 Porsches. My favorite is the 1976 911SC. The 2008 Cayman was by far the cutest - with the "big hips" on the rear.

Does it for me too but I am not fond of kids in the car. They can ride with my wife. I do let my dog ride with me though. Just put blankets down so he can't scratch.

The Panamera competes with our BMW 760 I- so I figured- why not aquire the Panamera. Its a nice family Car with All Wheel Drive.

Oh sure you don't NEED to have that kind of money, but it's not smart to buy one unless you've got fairly significant wealth. You can buy one cheap, but maintaining it and repairing it will kill you.

The Boxster's name is derived from the word "boxer", referring to the vehicle's flat or "boxer" engine, and the word "roadster", referring to the vehicle's two-seater capacity and convertible top.

Nice! My first Porsche was a black on black Porsche 914 with gold alloy rims found on both Porsche and VW! it was actually my parents but I took over when I got my license and then my brother took over years later! Now I have a 2013 special edition Porsche Panamera Turbo executive edition metallic black and customized gunmetal grey rims specially made for it! I've had since 2015 Don't drive it much but when I do it is a fun drive! 👍

5 things you REALLY didn't know about Porsche: 1. In 1994 Porsche won the 24h Le Mans with a 962 in the GT1, due to the fact that a manufacturer called "Dauer" rebuild the 962 Group C-Racecar street legal. 2. Actually Porsche owns more than 50% of VW, but not as Porsche, but as Porsche Holding. 3. For the Carrera GT they used an engine, which was designed for a car competing in the 24h Le Mans Race, which was later cancelled. 4. Due to FIA regulations Porsche was allowed to place the enginge of the 911 RSR 2017 in front of the rear axle. 5. Porsche had a large problem with the water-cooled engines of the 996/997 Carrera and 996/997 Carrera S which caused nearly 30% of them getting broken at around 100.000km

Platon the last fact is not entirely correct, It was only the 996 generation and on Boxsters mostly but the failure was the IMS bearing and at about 100,000 miles or so it would give out and destroy the engine so the bearing costs 10k I believe to replace it and that is why people are selling their 996 Boxsters a lot for very cheap and guess what they are in the low 100,000 mile range

Bradley Porter. Well at the moment only the 996 and 986 have problems with their IMS bearing, but due to the fact that the 997 (only the 3.6l) used a still the M96/05 they will have that problem too. However it changed after eingine number (Thats something I looked up) 6950745 (built in 2008)/ 61504715 for the 987.

Oder dein Vater hat sich einen solchen Porsche gekauft und du fühlst dich nun persönlich angegriffen? Wie dem auch sei, es ist kein Grund ausfallend zu werden oder zu denken, du wüsstest mehr über Porsche als ich, weil du denkst ich käme nicht aus Deutschland. Nun ... es stimmt, dass Porsche sehr zuverlässige Fahrzeuge baut, aber auch die besten machen hin und wieder Fehler. Und die Zwischenwelle der ersten wassergekühlten Serienporsches war einer der wenigen von ihnen. Also es stimmt, dass 30% vielleicht nicht korrekt sind, da es weder eine Statistik von Porsche noch eine unabhängige gibt, da es fast nicht möglich ist, den Fehler zu betiteln, wenn der komplette Motor auseinander gefallen ist. Einige reden von 50% andere von 5%. 30% ist der geschätzte Mittelwert einiger Fachleute, die sich natürlich auch irren können.

5 is called the ims bearing, and it affected some 986 and 987 Boxsters, thankfully ours has an upgraded bearing. And it wasn't 30%. The number of ims failures across the 996, 997, 986 and 987s in total so far is about 8%.

I started renting & driving exotic cars @ tracks several yrs back. While Ferrari’’s & Lamborghini’s etc are great cars - they weren’t attainable or daily driver friendly. So I kept coming back to Porsches that are great on the track & comfortable on the street. Had a 911 Cabriolet & now have a Panamera.
