When Ratan Tata was asked in an interview that You are richer than Ambani in many ways even you can become one of the richest person in the world only if you wouldn't have done the charitable work ?? On this reply he told that many of the people including Ambani are businessman where they chose to see the profit everywhere but I'm a Industrialist I don't want to be my country economically strong to be at some top position in the world i just want my country to be happy and prosperous and i can do anything for it . This is where he has made all the difference in everyone's heart. Recently Tata Group has donated 1500 crore for the Corona pandemic for needy people. Hat's off to such personality.

You forgot to mention a very interesting story about him. A few decades ago, when Tata Group entered the field of automobiles, the CEO of ford once said to Mr. Ratan Tata that Tata Group is good in iron & steel industry and automobiles were not really their thing. So he should sell his automobiles division to Ford. Of course Mr. Tata denied the offer... A few years ago, ford was in very bad conditions to manage the Land Lover and Jaguar brands.... and guess what... Tata bought both the brands from Ford. Since then the both the brands are doing a very decent job in the market.

Car drastically undersold because he calculated large percentage of sales in the US but he wasn't given permission. There is no real reason to make it illegal in the US other than fearing a sudden fall in gas/petrol sales along with other car manufacturers lobbying and paying government to stop him. Surely with prices that low for a car, you would sweep the market no matter how ugly the car looked. This Tata car isn't just a great invention but an act of charity to all low income people who can't afford cars. Not the first time US government stalled great innovative technology for pure capitalism
