I have a funny Dollar Tree story to tell you. My sister in law does mission trips to Haiti. One trip she bought like 100 pregnancy tests to take with her because they just don’t have the healthcare there that we do. When she got to the check out, the clerk looked at her, and she said, “ I just want to be really, really sure.” 😂

Dollar Tree is my go to for gift bags and tissue paper, foil baking pans, bandaids, pkgs of Manila envelopes, hair clips and bands.

The giant clips/clothespins are also great for securing your beach towel to your lounger. I took them on a cruise and they worked great!

The mesh bags were my to go when my kids were little, I loved washing all their socks in them. Helps reduce the socks being eaten up by the sock monster. 😂

I buy the drawstring mesh bags when we go to the beach for shell bags!!

Don’t forget the HELIUM BALLOONS. A much better deal than the party places that charge up to $5-10 PER BALLOON in some places. DT is definitely the place to get those, and if one pops or goes flat, it’s a dollar. They also have really good LED tap lights that work great in closets and storage areas.

Pregnancy tests are regulated by the FDA. The ones you get at the Dollar Tree are by and large just as effective as the expensive ones and the ones at your doctor’s office. The more important factor is using it correctly. And yes you’re right, they measure hCG!

Nice to see you're coming around to the DT also! I'm an avid shopper there, it's all about the hunt for sure! Those of us who have been shopping at the DT for years know not everything is worth it, but we also know, you have to check often because they're getting new exciting items all the time! TFS!

I get reading glasses from the Dollar Tree too. Some of them are adorable. And if I lose a pair or break a pair it’s not a big deal.

Yes, love Dollar Tree! I also get gift bags there. They have beautiful bags in all sizes for every occasion and the tissue paper to make them nice. Watch batteries, balloons 🎈, and artificial flowers 💐 … just to name a few more things 🥳 Really great store!

Clips keep beach towels on loungers, too! Great on cruise or beach!

Midwife here…spoiler alert: the pregnancy tests we use in clinic are basically the same exact thing as the dollar tree ones 🤪.

Can confirm the pregnancy tests DO WORK! First test I took when I was pregnant with my son was from the dollar tree and darn if it wasn't accurate!

I do a Dollar Tree run every few months or so. I stock up on foil sheets for my convection oven/air fryer, tissue boxes, paper products (note pads, post its, envelopes, pens), packing supplies, gift bags, party supplies, storage bins and so many other things. They have these moisture collection containers that we put in the bathrooms and laundry rooms. I also buy their cheap detergent to use to wash bathroom rugs.

Finally someone else saying how they feel about greeting cards😉 I have said for years, give me or the kids the five bucks and write me a personal note! What a racquet they have 😱 love dollar tree cards though.

They have fantastic bag/chip clips as well!! The jumbo clips make excellent pool towel holders to clip to the pool chair and keep your towel from blowing around.

Yes, I love their laundry bags and use them and the foldable net hampers when I'm away. One if my Best purchases are their calendars... everyone I know always complain they can't find calendars....I got them covered. Another idea, which I find is more affordable than dollar stores, and better for the environment is thrift stores 🙂 giving things a second life, rather than buying brand new can have a huge impact. A lot of these mentioned items can be found including dishes, glassware, storage contains, picture frames, books, the options are endless. I often also find brand new items there so please consider this on your next shopping trip 🙂

Great realistic round up. Thanks for suggesting the wire brushes. I could use those and would never think they’d be in there. Also the glassware is definitely a must; at one point they had white plain chef’s plates if you will and everyone swore I paid top dollar for them.

I use the wire brushes to clean the grungy zippers on my used designer bags. Makes them super shiny!

Love love love this segment! Great tip on the laundry basket, i have gluten sensitivities that make my hands very sore and sometimes i just don’t want to pull all the clothes out of the washer and dryer, if it’s a bag, makes it a lot easier

I do love their plastic bins and drawer organizers. I have them in my kitchen. The larger bins are flimsy but I keep things in there that I don’t use often, lightbulbs, extra cleaning supplies. I don’t use them in my pantry because there not sturdy enough for as much as I pull them in and out but under the sink and in the laundry room are my favorite places for them. I also love their 6 pack of sponges, they are cheap but I’ll use one to clean my bathroom, green scrubby side only lasts 1 cleaning but who wants to use that again anyway, I throw it out when I’m done and I get a nice clean bathroom. I also buy their brooms, I’ll use it for a specific room, laundry room or garage only. Somewhere that I don’t want to spread stuff from anyone room. I also pick up toothbrushes for my guest bathroom and other bathroom things so when we have people visit if they forget anything under the sink there is whatever they could need.

Dollar store pregnancy tests are the only ones I'll buy. The expensive ones aren't any better quality-wise.

I bought those lil drawer organizers, then found them at walmart for around $4 each!! Such a steal at the dollar tree

i disagree about the meaning behind greeting cards, they’re definitely special in my family however i agree that im not paying more than a dollar or maybe 2 for a greeting card so i also EXCLUSIVELY get my greeting cards from dollar tree. i’ve turned many people onto doing that as well because other places charge $5 sometimes more per card

There are a million amazing things at DT. Scrubber sponges, vacuum storage bags, crossword puzzle books, microfiber dust cloths, contact papers, stationery items, zip ties thst are great for gardening to stake plants, the popcorn holders last forever, I could go on and on.

I like their seeds, potting soil, small pots, and cards!

Some of the products are in smaller packages than Wal-Mart for instance but they have alot of great items. We like the extra creamy Whip cream for our coffee. $1.25 is ny far the cheapest place we have found.

I always put them in grocery bags I bring along, but the mesh bags make more sense😅 I love their glassware! Dollar Tree is absolutely the best place to buy greeting cards. I only buy cards at Dollar Tree and Trader Joe's. The only time I spend more on a card is for weddings. In that case, I like to buy cards made by Papyrus.

I watched this to see what you recommend. I am not a super fan of Dollar Tree. I do go for cards and some quick basics since I live close to one. But I try not to go, because mostly junk.
