Storm is absolutely brutal this season, you absolutely have to have a plan if you land near the edges of the map.

Honestly if you move when circle is revealed try running to it asap since the storm is faster, i haven't had a problem with storm since .Plus it makes my games faster since people are busy looting and dying to storm

HUGE TIP to save yourself short matches: always land on the location NEXT to the medalion, after looting the place you rotate to the medalion with good loot and your chances of winning will skyrocket

Nah I land right on Peter every game with no problems, kill him with little to no weapons or ammo and then raid the vault. If anything jump on the train for easy blue load out and get off the train when you’re near a medallion

The slow crouch is definitely in prep for Solid Snake! Overall it’s pretty awesome that they gave us a month of OG & now something super fresh feeling. I love having EVERY weapon brand new. Pretty sweet

Truthfully this is the most fun I’ve had in Fortnite in such a long time. Love the guns, love the new movement animations and the new approach to health item usage. My only complaint has to be the grapple blade and how it makes you bounce off things which makes it difficult to get a rhythm down when moving. Other than that, this season is by FAR in the top 3 seasons on my list l

As someone who always used the DMR in past chapters the new AR's feel natural for me. My advice is to avoid spraying as much since tap firing at least for me allows you to focus on shot quality vs shot quantity on rifles. If you are determined for a spray weapon the ballistic shield will be a good choice, it gives you ample protection and decent spray in close to semi medium range.

My favorite solo spot is the house with the resistance bunker underground at the Train Station. Grab some guns and rotate into the boss area.

My favorite spot has been the weapon armory place that’s unnamed in the tunnel where the train goes underground for a second. Enough guns to fill up the loadout when solo and enough guns for squads. I hope they don’t change the movement back to what it was, I love everything about the new update.

I absolutely love this season. I’m already used to the movement, and I think it’s an improvement. The only complaint I have is the speed of the storm in the end game. Early it doesn’t matter, but the max pull zones at this speed is crazy

It's crazy, in a weird way the new movement has made my aim a lot better for some reason. I didn't like the movement at first, but then I realized I was frying people a lot more from distance. Has anyone else experienced this?

I feel exactly the same! The first two matches I didn’t really like it but my aim was much much better and I was 10 + kills per match not to mention quite a few solo crowns as well!! I made a new profile in my settings and reset everything back to default and then made a few adjustments from there and that’s when I noticed a big difference. I think a lot of players need to do the same reset their settings, back to default and then try it. All their settings are based on the old movement.

I’ve been landing at Lavish Lair and luring the boss out to the back house killing him and taking Oscars Mythic. I usually run oscar’s auto, an eagle reaper, white heals (cuz I got medallion), shockwaves and striker ar with holo 13 scope. Got SO many crown wins this way. Busted strat all around

I run this load out too! I go to lavish or the field location (can’t remember the name) for the mythic striker. I find it so much more useful to have med kits or floppers once I have a medallion than shields.

@@derd3 Don’t open the vault until you’re ready and you’re sure no enemies are around. Remember you have the only key and it doesn’t take up an inventory slot so if you’re under pressure take time opening the vault

Ballistic sheild and peters shotgun are an insane combo. Use the shield until your opponent stops shooting then pop him with the shotgun

Evolve Jake can you please make an informative video explaining the new gun names and what mods come with each name/class. I.e. the eagle eye means it has a 4x scope and sharpshooter means it's a 2x scope and covert ops means suppressor. I'm sure the community would greatly appreciate it cause I've been seeing tons of ppl asking this question

The grapple blade is difficult to use when grappling on trees in rotation cuz you bounce off them. Been trying to use the ground and rocks. I wish the grapple blade spawn significantly more, everyone should be able to get one.

I was in the same boat. Only played Chapter 1 and OG, so Chapter 5 felt very overwhelming, at first. Drops felt chaotic and time to kill is so low, so I felt helpless. But after playing for half a day I started to feel a lot more comfortable. Been grinding games for a few days, now all the new stuff feels like second nature and having a blast.

From what I understand revives and reboots are cumulative as well, meaning you can stop midway without loosing your progress. Haven't had a chance to use this yet, but it seems very powerful.

As someone who is not super great with shotguns, I got 3 or 4 1 shot kills with the red dotted shotty. Using it at mid range was awesome, but it doesn’t replace a regular shotty for close range.

Noticed that the reload animations is slower especially in fights if you are reloading in front of an opponent your practically dead, so hit from far get it and finish the opponent

I think the movement shift is that they're progressively acclimating us to what first-person mode will require in order to be a switch option.

I’ve grown to like the movement. As a late arrival to Fortnite I also like the that movement skill is kinda reset in a way. With some grinding I can close the gap more between me and those who have played for years.

my strat at the moment is to land grand glacier and then move to reckless railways, I end up with two medallions and two mythic's. I have found the glacier mythic, the AR, to be very overpowered.

I find clingers are mad useful for riot shields, i dont usually carry them but if yournanywhere near a structure theyre extremely common

I know its been a while since you posted this ,but you asked us to mention what we've had to get used to. For me, it's the way heals/shields are used. I still once in a while try to swap out of a big pot, to "save" it, and poof, its gone. Old habits i guess.

Seasons great, so much fun. Medkits is most imoprtant heal this season for solos, you can tank storm for so much time, also every train station or POi has vending machine with medkits or ability to patch up. I been sitting in storm for at least 5 mins each game or more

Great content as always. My fusion Pro 3 is bugged with this update, dunno if anyone else is experiencing it. It randomly looks left or right like stick drift but, it has 000.2 drift on other games. If your controller is messing up, it's a bug. Epic is aware of it but the fix, who knows when

Having a medallion sometimes means like a quarter of the lobby focuses you, more than once yesterday I was fighting off a continual stream of people, even with the shield buff there's just no time for heals 😅

Tip #1 - use a tool built for the deaf and mobile play (visual sound effects) while playing on PC with 3D spacial audio to gain every last cheap advantage possible ... utilizing visual sound effects should automatically default the game audio to mono with zero directional ability ... Bonus tip - spend money on items to get pay to win buffs like reduced recoil, reduced 'bloom' and favorable RNG for shotgun spread and loot ... lol ... 😆

For those who don't know, if you toss an emp nade at the vending machines they still give gold bars. The berry gives you super jump amd speed amd itll last longer the more you use.
