Lol - I follow Lydia Tomlinson and I bought the Toteme boots similar to the black boots that you show here. They were a splurge but I sent them back because my son asked why I'm wearing elf boots lol. As soon as I feel a bit awkward in something, I either don't buy it or send it back cuz I know I won't reach for them. Lydia looks amazing in them but they're not for me.

Those boots are stupidly expensive. I’m all for spending money on quality, especially when it comes to boots, but that is taking the Micky and there’s no way they are worth that price. I’ve just bought a lovely pair of similar ankle boots for £150, very good quality and extremely comfortable.

Now this is how I used to purchase clothes when I was young. I used to buy the best clothing now. That sweater that you're wearing the white with the black stripes looks so spectacular. It looked different even on your video compared. The Amazon close no offense but it's quite frankly. Buying just a couple of these pieces is so much better than buying a whole bunch of cheap stuff. Really to be honest with you

I wear a 30F bra so the seamless pull-on styles definitely dont work for me because when I move at all, my underboob gobbles up all the fabric. Aside that (and the fact that button up shirts are made for b-cups), these are all very nice, classic pieces that work for a multitude of occasions.

I have a Lily Silk shirt. And I love it. Their prices have gone up. But I may get myself another one for Christmas. I like the Adidas Gazelle platforms. I’m short and they would help with my jeans that are just a little too long. I don’t like the Samba ones. I need to have a thicker sole. I wore so many cheap pairs of shoes when I was younger. And I’m paying for it now. I have a trench coat. It has a zip in lining. It is warm. But I did but myself a camel coat for winter. It’s not super thick. But I live in Georgia so it should work fine.

We typically use the word trouser to describe a more professional “pant” aka trouser. Definitely not as common of a phrase here compared to somewhere like the Uk where any bottom is called a trouser

Why do I always feel like a silk shirt is inappropriate for work office ? I don’t have any. Cuz if I’m going out I’m not going to wear a button down anyway. I don’t like turtle necks I don’t ever wear them , I don’t consider that a classic unless you have the face and featured for it. Never in the years I’ve worked in an office have I Ever seen a woman wear a silk shirt to work.

I feel like Shea does a big variety of quality and affordable and quality and not so affordable. She has showcased plenty of Target and WalMart staples, for example. But for coats, jeans, or boots, I think I can see her saying “it is worth it to buy better quality” which equals more money. But the use value and the longevity of the piece pays off. I promise ♥️ plenty of things she lists are out of my budget, for sure, but she is definitely a good inspiration!!
