Great video thanks for this. I had Identity fraud done on me. Took me 2 years to sort out was very frustrating as the bank would tell me to talk to the credit company. The credit company would say we are waiting on the bank and was playing cat and mouse. Eventually i was able to sort it out but will put a password on my credit check for sure. Thanks for the tip

Doesn’t a credit score just show you how much debt you’ve got/had? I’m following Dave Ramsey so hoping to bring my credit score down, not up.

Sorry, you've got the idea wrong. A credit score doesn't show how much debt you've got/had. It is a score that speaks to your ability to manage the debt or access to credit that you have. A high credit score is always better than a low credit score. So hoping to bring your credit score down is not a good idea. Is that what you've learned from Dave Ramsey?

In the UK it can go up to 999. I currently have a score of 908.
