This is part 3 of a 3-part series on health and wellness. I'm bringing us home with some admittedly odd habits I have developed over the years, but they haven't failed me yet!

Hi Crystal, new subscriber here. I just wanted to tell you that for some odd reason, your tip on eating the entire apple (seeds included) really resonated with me. I don't know what it is but I REALLY enjoy eating apples now!

Hey Crystal! I just wanted to let you know that Organic fruits and veggies have more pesticides on them than traditional versions. Organic foods still use pesticides, they just use natural ones that need 2-3x the amount to work the same.

You're a nut. An enganging, easy-to-listen to nut.... but a nut. I'll have to try some of those ideas. And none of this has anything to do with machining... yet I'm still watching. :)

Thanks for the tips! But I heard that apple seeds are poisonous, aren't they 😅
@CrystalClues3 жыл бұрын
I have actually heard that too! Curiosity got the best of me and I just googled it. “Apple seeds contain amygdalin, a substance that releases cyanide into the blood stream when chewed and digested. However, apple seeds in small amounts do not contain enough cyanide to cause harm.” I think as long as nobody is eating too many of these on a regular basis they should be okay... But I’ll check back with you in a few decades to be sure hopefully I am alive lol😉 I probably eat a whole apple about once a month lately. (Since it’s the end of the summer season, I am doing all of the stone fruits ie peaches and nectarines since they will no longer be available soon.)

@@CrystalClues Same to you! And genuinely, thanks for your helpful videos. I was searching for a channel like yours for a long time! And found it recently. It's so helpful for people who want to compete in pageants but couldn't reach or afford proper training. You are doing all for free! Not trying to sound cheesy lol but I'm truly grateful.
@CrystalClues3 жыл бұрын
Well you are doing the exact right thing looking for online resources. The world is your oyster! I am sure I’m not the only one doing pageant content out there, but watch everything that you can even in tangentially related areas (ie public speaking, beauty tips, modeling, and online brand-building) and soak in all the advice! It’s okay if recommendations don’t always agree and are sometimes conflicting... pageantry is a very diverse world and everyone’s got different opinions. When I was dancing, my best dance teacher actively encouraged me to seek instruction from other dance teachers too. It’s the best way to improve and grow when you have multiple sources of expertise. I am considering one day turning on ads so that y’all can help buy me a coffee every month or so 😂 when the day comes, I hope you won’t hate me (I’ll make them skippable)

"I am cheap, I do not waste food, I eat the whole fruit" 1min later "I take 2 bits of something sweet then chuck it, I know it's wasteful" haha
@CrystalClues3 жыл бұрын
Having sugar and desserts in your body rather than outside your body is hardly worth the hit since there are no advantages other than taste. No nutrients, fiber etc. Definitely not good to be cheap with your health :/ diabetes meds are way more expensive long term.
