That is a great swing! He is like a left-handed version of Jeter, with his inside out swing. His eye is on the pitch all the way and doesn't try to pull everything.

He works extremely hard obviously and is also a incredible player. But whistle while theses players are rare there are others who don’t have the luxury of working in a beautiful facility already. Why don’t y’all do stories on kids like him but have nothing I don’t understand

I agree, I’m around his age but I don’t have the luxury of having a hitting coach, i lift on my own and hit on my own, I’ve learned everything on my own🤷‍♂️

I am tired of so many people saying this, there is no such thing as natural ability. So to clarify what I mean by that you may have like a knack for baseball at the beginning, a bit like Tiger Woods and golf. He had a knack for golf at a young age, but he didn't become a PGA champion overnight. He put in tons of work perfecting his craft, which is what this whole series is about. Putting in the hours to perfect the player's craft.

Wow the training regimen these athletes do to day is a far cry from all the weight lifting they were doing two decades ago. You can tell this is more targeted to the sport of baseball.

The sad part is that a lot of this young boys works so hard and developing such a good and discipline players that they don't relying on using steroids to impress but then again those are the players that get good contracts and this youngsters be push to a corner .GBHVM

His leg lift is way to high, when he faces faster pitches there will be less time to get that leg up. I think that this will kill his swing.

@@andrewdietz6339 I put in, Whether it be by watching videos and trying to repeat it OR by practicing it, i try to put in 1-2 hours a day. On the days im practicing i record it in slow-motion, bla bla bla, and ya. But i have to watch so many videos just to understand it, but that's my advantage. Thesse guys may be told what it should look like and why and how it should be, but they'll never understand it like somebody who has to learn it and correct it themselves will.

@@andrewdietz6339 Like actually when i responded just now i was watching Jose Altuve kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m7digJtm1tS8eoE.html I was watching his backarm to see if it got flat or not, when it got flat, how it got flat, why it got flat, etc. Turns out that's the last main thing im missing in my swing. You have to get the arm flat so that it doesn't turn into v shape contact. Who taught me that? Nobody, besides youtube. New nothing about baseball 2 years ago and now i know a shiton.
