Sam Try a one way clutch pulley on your alternator. ( standard on some late model LS engines) Had the same problem with my Magnusson supercharged LS in my GQ and it solved the belt issue. I think the theory is that the alternators momentum keeps it wanting to spin when you close the throttle at full noise. This encourages belt slip at the alternator pulley and off comes the belt.

To prevent stripping drive belts you'll need to install an over run sprag on the blower and alternator. Every time you give it a rev and get on and off the throttle, the momentum in the supercharger and the alternator are too much for the belt to control. A sprag will allow them to slow down a different rate to the crankshaft. You can also tune the engine to maintain throttle for a few seconds after a rev which will allow the combination to ease it's way to idle instead of an instant snap.
