Wash the blanket with your detergent, add some borax (trust me, I’m Irish and wool drives me mad. I always add a hefty tablespoon to every load, it truly softens your clothes nicely. Then soak it overnight in fabric softener. Keep soaking it until it’s soft. Good luck! 🍀

"Fiber Content" might have been the phrase you were looking for. You're right, though, it seems like there should be a word like "ingredients" for textiles! Definitely do the re-creation. It's always fun to see what you can find in your local stores and whether you can beat the price. Also an excuse to buy yourself some more appropriately fall colored florals. P.S. I'm in Alaska and it's definitely feeling like fall here. Leaves are still green, but temperatures are chilly. Went for a bike ride with a jean jacket on today and was freezing!

The box was really nice but I do agree that it’s pricy. I think they should take a page from FFF and offer a few choices to further curate! That way, you might’ve avoided the purple flowers and felt like there was more value to the box, regardless of price! 🍂🌾🌻

Labor day weekend was upper 90s here in minnesota, but from now on we’re solidly in the 70s!! I finally feel like myself wearing long sleeves again😅

We are fall in Wisconsin. High today 64 was 46 overnight. The leaves are changing, we have 2 apple trees that are almost ready and pumpkins in our garden are ready for decorating! It was 100 degrees last weekend and -20 below is lurking at some point after fall. But for now we are thriving!😊

Any time you have a decorative pot or container that doesn’t have drainage holes, you can put a smaller pot or vase inside and put live plants or flowers in it that way.

If you have a flower pot without drainage, put a couple inches of aquarium rocks at the bottom before the soil. That gives room for the water to drain away so you don't drown your plants. 🪴

I think that blanket is a throw blanket, and since it's a fall-themed item, it's not intended or meant to be worn over bare legs, i.e., as in wearing shorts. So if you use it on your couch with jeans and long sleeves on, you won't feel any prickliness from it - hopefully! If you do, maybe spray it all over to dampen, then toss in the dryer with 2 dryer sheets to soften it up!

I live in Ontario Canada. My area was under a heat advisory for a few days this week. Halloween is always a crapshoot. It could be hot, cold, snowy, rainy, rain/snow mix, rain/cold mix. It's always a game of how to dress roulette.

Honestly I feel like $150 is worth it. Especially because of the lanterns, blanket, and the floral piece.

When my daughter was in her other school her kindergarten and first grade teachers sent home plants they had started in class. The first year was a sunflower the next year was some type of grass. I tried so hard to keep them alive bc my daughter loved them. She would help me then she would be to busy or lose interest in maintaining it but still wanted it lol. I read the tag, called my mom and grandma 😂 talked to my sis in law across the street bc her daughter went to the same school and was a grade above and got the same plants etc. I just cant and could never. They always die no matter what I do for them. It’s some type of magic 🪄 keeping plants and some things similar to that alive 😂

The blanket is to sit on when you sit in the fall ground. And the polyester in the blanket is done up in a way that it gives a faux wool feel and warmth.

For the blanket, try soaking it in fabric softener and washing it again with just fabric softener before tumbling it with wool dryer balls. Thats how i handle scratchy sweaters

I'm 30 minutes south of Chicago, today is the first day that isn't in the 80+, it"s 70 today. I like the vibe of this, I'm not a country girl but I'm digging it. I have so much already that at 36 I'm just like "I have a problem!"

I live in southeast GA & am with you on being ready for Fall! I’m over the hot weather & am excited we’re at least having temps in the 80’s. Even if it’s 89, that just sounds so much better than 90 & I’m keeping the air conditioner & ceiling fan on high & burning my Marshmallow Fireside candle while I pretend it’s much cooler outside than it really is! There was some really cute stuff in this box, but the videos where you recreate it are always fun. I hope the blanket doesn’t feel so stabby after you wash it!😂

As a serial plant shopper (and killer sadly lol but I also live in a very dark and humid house so not entirely my fault) in my experience you can use a vase without holes at the bottom, but it makes watering more difficult as you need to make sure there's not too much water stuck in there and you might need to do some more prep for the bottom. I actually do tend to use pots without holes for plants that require a lot of water so that in my house they're fine even when I forget to water them for a while 🤣 also turkeys are mean 🥲

I agree, the florals should have been a different color and I also think the boxes could have been black or tan and it would have had more Fall vibes.

I really love the picture you received. It looks like the kind of picture that people are finding in thrift stores to paint little ghosts on (yes, it’s a trend:), to make a haunted painting. I also like it just as it is.

Just an fyi, if a planter doesn't have drainage holes, the best/easiest course of action for plants would be to leave them in a nursery pot. You can then take it out to water it and if you need to repot, you wont have to possibly destroy your cute lil planter!

Eastern montana is high 70s/low 80s, we, of famously awful weather year round, actually had a mostly pleasant summer. I hate high heat and it was great here other than a few sporadic weeks of mid 90s.
