Yes sir, I also asked fir the same. As I have three smps power supplies of my two laptops and I want to use one of them which is idle to my RI water purifier. That needs 24 Volts and 2.5 amps and I have 19 volts and 5 Amps power supply. Now I can do the modifications to suit my requirements. Thanks. 🥰☑️💯👏👏

You are so familiar with your subject that you are explaining so simple and understandable. Thanks for sharing your experiencies with us You mentioned in our narration. You are not the designer of the circuit. You can influence a certain area. What is the limit in this sense? I mean. Are we going to make changes only within the design output voltage? Is it possible to chage output voltage higher than design voltage. what will be the limit. how much we can increase it? I think playing with the design for increasing voltage and current may requires changing other components like transformer windings etc. I'm looking forward to your new video.

Rather than taking out R1 from the voltage divider network, it's good to take R2. Because there is some delay between the feedback and output .. So at the time when R1 is zero alot of inrush current from some caps can damage the Voltage shunt resistor... If R2 is changed then, when R2 is zero then the inrush current is limited by R1 , which is a safe criteria.

Sir your clear explanation is very nice Comparison of normal smps vs smps based battery charging circuit The battery takes a lot of current and voltage drop, but how does this work because the smps regulator tries to increase the voltage always

Nice vdo sir ji. Sometimes we need to charge batteries like lithium ion, 12v lead acid batteries. They need specific current limit. If we charge those batteries with high current they may damage. Please, i request u to make one current limit circuit so that, after giving high current it still charge with the current which is limited by that circuit. Plz its kind request.
