Today we play as Farmer in Brotato and boy are we harvesting hard. We almost hit 1500 but believe it or not, that is not the highlight. The highlight are 4 legendary Thunder Sword weapons. What's legendary about them? Well, only their level...the weapon itself is not that amazing, BUT how often do you get to see a run with 4 of them?!

Why no Danger 5: I wouldnt mind the difficulty, the problem is it highly limits builds by the less material you get, which is not great for content. If you disagree, compare views on the videos - I got a lot of Danger 5 runs uploaded and mention that

It is the point of danger 5 , making you consider more for what to do with materials . However the way game did it is so bad . Less materials gained and higher items price make the game not fun anymore . They could make enemies stronger instead . Players still could afford a lot of items but harder to keep up without the right build

The general agreement is difficulty 1. U have the same buying power and new enemies, if they could add 2 bosses there would be perfect

I'd prefer a system like Hades where you can choose from a number of different things that make the game harder and combine/enable as you like

Dex: "No, I don't take the Bag, it's too expensive with it's 29 Material Cost." Also Dex: "Oh, I will take this Bag with it's 32 Material Cost."

It did make sense at some point . For example , on round 3 you only earned like 70 materials so 29 is a lot ( more than 40% of your total materials ) , on round 5 you earned 180 materials so 32 is not so much anymore ( not even 20% ) . However if you got crates in between , it would be different story :v

It's a reasonable joke, but the difference between those two time stamps is the lumberjack shirt (although yeah, it's totally meme that he had rerolled that first bag directly into the shirt). Without it, he wasn't going to be getting chests since hands just can't reasonably kill the enemies or the trees required to find any.

Iirc he got a crate right after he skipped the Bag in the next round, which already would have paid back 66% of the cost. Guys, don't act like he's optimizing his Brotato-Runs like he is in Vampire Survivors. ;)

I just did a farmer run and had 1000 harvest, 180hp and 80 hp regen (estis couch). Finished with nuclear launchers and explosive hammers. Super fun run.

I would like to see an episode of Brotato in which you can only use items that have a certain stat in them e.g. hp, crit, doge etc. it doesn't matter if they are positive or negative it has to be there.

run idea: circular saw knight. circular saw is the weapon with the highest melee damage per second, and knight gets an insane amount of melee damage while being very tanky. circular saw also has high lifesteal, which profits heavily off of armor since one hit point is worth more effectife hp with high armor than with low hp, and armor is litterally what knight is.

fun fact: Legendary hands are actually 18 harvesting dex, They are best to combine Epics because you lose no harvestng for doing it

Bounce builds are pretty funny if you get lucky. I got 3 of the fire 1 bullet from killed enemies on top of 1 extra bounce item... with 6 slingshot 2 red 4 purple. 1 kill shoots 3 extra bullets that bounce and kill 1 thing on their own which shoots 3 from all 3... it covers the screen and you really can't tell what's going on

Legendary hand actually gives 18 harvesting, not 12. The scaling goes 3, 6, 9, 18

How does harvesting work?

You get it at the end of each round and it increases by 5%, here 10% due to the character. It also translates over into XP, but I dont know the conversion rate

I don't care that this isn't difficulty 5, but I'm more curious as to which difficulty this is? 1, 2, or 3? This seems like the preferred level for most who play, where you can still have the runs you want. Level 5 hurts, a lot. With the armor nerf and the "stronger enemies" buff you get enemies that deal 15+ damage by wave 9-10, and it forces either pure damage builds or such tanky builds...

5 itself is fine for me in regards to what 5 adds. The double boss fight is a lot more entertaining. 4 hurts a ton, enemies drop less material. This mostly hinders how crazy a build can become, which doesnt help for content - I am of course talking about a content creation perspective 3 makes enemies stronger, which I think is more than fine 2 makes the shop more expensive. If you combine this with less material and stronger enemies, it becomes REALLY hard to make builds. 1 adds new enemies. This is the difficulty I play on if my goal is content. And that's why my videos are either played on 1 or on 5. I think I got a video on all chars where I finished 5 on, except a few I left out that I covered already on lower difficulty or in the past, back in June. on danger level 1 all build will work. But farmer is stupid unplayable pers for level 5. Harvesting dont give any preferences, play like pacifist? Oh is boring

Running danger 5 you still need harvesting . Killing alone doesnt give you enough materials so you would have to go with some greeds . It all come to how long you can survive while pushing the greed and it make game more fun for me beacause you can not do whaterver and still win easily anymore . And for the farmer build i think the best is mixxing with elemental dmg . The scared sausage can cover dmg for the hand and the teaser scale with elemental as well . That way you would have both harvesting and dmg
