To be honest. I been jamming Nipsey since 2008/9 faithfully and when I look bacc at it... that victory lap is SO FUCCING LEGENDARY! The sound, lyrics, features, quality and to this day 03/23/2021 I still haven’t heard a album better than that. God knew his time was coming up and that’s why that body of work was like that man! That’s why Nip carried himself like that, talk, and made the moves he made like he did for us to follow. The universe knew man!

It’s ironic. Right when it seemed that Nipsey was on his meteoric rise and rubbing shoulders with the likes of Jay-Z and P. Diddy, his life was suddenly cut short by ignorance and jealousy. Just feel blessed that 1500 or Nothin was able to complete the project and make it what it is today. This is like a tribute and a celebration of Nip’s life in a way. This is for the culture. And The Marathon still Continues. 🙏🏾💙

I hope Nipsey wins a Grammy for this. The way he handled that 2018 Grammy snub was on some boss shit. He didn't lash out or trash the whole system. Instead he took the feedback gracefully and used it as motivation to work even harder. I feel like the Grammys took notice of that and have been blessing him ever since EDIT : I wanted to add that this song sounds like our version of Michael and Vito Corleon
