She cheated on me. I still have her crockpot. She’s not getting it back. Nope.

During my break-up, I desperately hoped that I wouldn't get that text. And yet, there it was a little over two months later. One month after he reached out the first time to ask how I was feeling. My heart sank. I thought it meant it was over. I envisioned the meet-up to exchange "stuff". Trying to prepare for what I knew would be a day I'd have to emotionally and mentally pretend it wasn't killing me. Well guess what...that day never came. He did come back. Took 8 months. Now we're engaged. Trust what Rory says...the " get your stuff back" text isn't necessarily the end.

The day my ex (finally) came and got her stuff back, was the day my property values went back up and the day I finished with her forever, and turned around and met the love of my life, who I am still married to to this day. Hi! I would be so hurt if my ex returned the gifts that I gave him. I really feel for people who receive their personal effects from their ex. It seems more harsh and hurtful in a certain way. I feel so bad for people who are facing this situation. It must be stressful and sad.

I got the text from her 3 months after the breakup. Completely NC. She said she was in the neighborhood and had some stuff I left. Then I had some stuff too, and was almost going to throw it away. So she stopped by and we talked for a bit and then she left. It was hard honestly and drained me more than I thought, even thought we really didn't talk about the past relationship. Great video..thank you. It's been 4 months since my breakup. I've been in no contact around a month after the breakup. Besides talking about how and when to get my things back from him. He said he has packed everything and let me know last week that he will drop it off this week. At the beginning of the breakup I also asked him to take me off his medical insurance which he paid for. He didn't say anything about that and left me on it. Until I found out the other day that it has been cancelled a month ago. I was upset because he should have told me it was cancelled so that I can sort out my own and thought it was inconsiderate because if something bad happened to me I wouldnt have known that I didn't have medical insurance. I then sent him a msg saying that it was disrespectful doing that and that I don't want to see him I will get someone to pick my things up.
