Thank you so much for showing us the process of working through the frustrations of something not working out. I’ve scraped twice today. I’m not giving up. Don’t you just LOVE a happy ending?! Beautiful!! 💖💖

She says she's gotta scrape and start over, and I literally shout "Nooooo! Don't do it its perfect! " I adored the way it turned out first. I absolutely loved it, and the contrast between the two sides. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder though, and as an artist I see your perspective too. Loved it!

Hon! Boy did I need to hear what you said about time, practice and money. I've come close to just getting rid of everything as I feel like a professional supply purchaser with little to no success in production as of late. I really liked it each time - when it’s diagonal like that there is more black on one and more white on the other - so you naturally have more black space on the one - loved all aspects of it!!!

The issue you was having was you halfed it across both panels. The one on your right side with the way it was halfed had more black and the one on your left had more white which is why you had the problem with one being more black. Regardless of what you seen as a mistake it was amazing and I would have put that panel aside and put a new clean one there and started again to save wasting your paint and use the old one as a happy mistake

The geometry of painting two rectangles corner to corner with black and white would lend to one having more black and the other more white to cover, throwing you off on the amount of color on each when separated. Your recovery was great when you painted more white on your right side. They turned out beautiful! Congrats! Love them❤

We learn so much from our panic moments and our oops's when we think things can't be fixed to our liking. Funny how sometimes the best results come from a little persistence and the willingness to try something else. I love the way they turned out.

I love it when an artist isn’t afraid to use black ... and a lot of it. My goodness that black side is just stunningly rich imho. The side with more white looks well I don’t want to use the word typical bc no two canvases are exactly the same but my eyes tend to go straight for the beautiful black 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The black side was fine; it's like saying "I lost all my black" on the other panel. Because of the angle, you only started with a tiny corner of white. Second time was fine, too. You want it to look like the other side, but with the proportions of black and white you are using on each panel, it's not possible. Lovely results, I think, on all attempts. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I agreed with some of the others... You didn't have to scrape and start over, though I get why you felt you were losing too much of the white. Your solution to the black expanse problem was exactly what I was thinking you should do. The finished pieces are gorgeous. I haven't done this yet, but you've inspired me to give it a try... Until yesterday, I'd never even encountered this style of art before, but I like it! Probably the first form of abstract art I've ever been attracted to, maybe because of its almost organic and textile appearance (I'm predominantly a needle artist, with a side of fine art.)

The shear geometric color design on the canvas with the problem was beautiful. A full canvas of the shear geometric shapes would be nice. If you have a blank canvas near by and put the excess paint from the scraper onto the second canvas with pallet knife techniques the effects will be very good. This way you don't waste the paint on a paper towel that goes into the trash.

I had to scrape ½ of my fire side corner blow out this morning as it wasn’t working for me. It’s drying now. Lordy. This looks gorgeous!

Three times tried. Three times scraped. Fates weren’t with me yesterday. Now I need more paint. Love the end result of yours.

I love the end product even though I was screaming not to scrape it....like you said" got to play with it, practice, until your happy with it" I've done several mediums across many different types of art but I've really been interested in the acrylic pour. I've seen alot of your videos and I love that you do scrape if your not happy with it! I'll be trying it for the first time next week! CANNOT WAIT!

Thank you so much. You always make it so interesting, and encouraging for newcomers to this art like me. Showing how to correct things is fantastic, but at times I'm screaming at the screen 'don't scrape it please, it's pretty', then say sorry when you fix it and its amazing. I love and enjoy your videos very much. you are a great inspiration, at 70 years old I'm learning heaps and having fun with art even though I'm not very good. Just love your work, you have so much talent.
