Do we need Jesus to protect us from God or did he come to reconnect us to God in consciousness and perhaps protect us from ourselves and our misperceptions of God?
Jesus said: Lo I'll be with you to the end of the age. Is this the end of an age? And if so, does that mean we must rethink Jesus? I'm getting lots of questions about this delicate subject. Hear some thoughts that are sure to make you think or rethink. Christ in you and as you, the hope of glory!
Carlton Pearson
After college at the Oral Roberts University in Tulsa Oklahoma he served for 15 years on its Board of Regents, and two years as Associate Evangelist of The Oral Roberts Association, (ORA).
In 1977, Pearson founded Higher Dimensions Ministries (now New Dimensions ), in Tulsa, which grew to over 5,000.
Bishop Pearson was consecrated to the office of Bishop in 1996 thru a College of Bishops headed by Bishop Charles E Blake, presently the Presiding Bishop of the Churches of God In Christ, the denomination he was raised in and through whom he was ordained in 1971.
In 1993, Carlton married the former Gina Marie Gauthier who is a professional Life Coach and Yoga teacher.
More recently, he has felt a passion to proclaim the "Gospel Of Inclusion" and has written a widely acclaimed book by that name, published by Simon and Schuster. It confronts the Christian church's exclusivism as being inconsistent, in spirit with the teachings of Jesus.
Pearson's frank and often controversial take on a number of different subjects has earned him appearances on television programs such as NBC and MSNBC's Dateline, ABC's Nightline, 20/20, Good Morning America, CBS Evening News with Dan Rather, BET Tonight with Tavis Smiley, The Edge with Paula Zahn and Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, The Monique Show on BET, and a number of other television, radio and print media outlets. Bishop Pearson was recognized as one of America's 10 Most Influential Black Ministers by Gospel Today and Belief.net. He has received several honorary doctoral degrees.
Bishop Pearson recently served as the Interim Senior Minister at Christ Universal Temple in Chicago. He and Gina now host New Dimensions of Chicago, building a local multi-cultural and radically Inclusive spiritual community that emphasizes expanded consciousness and Self Actualization. His newest book, God Is Not A Christian, Nor A Jew, Muslim, Hindu...God Dwells With Us, In Us, Around Us, As Us was published by Simon and Schuster and released in the spring of 2010.

Bishop Pearson, I met you in Valdosta, GA in 1992 at a crusade you did. I have followed your ministry the last 20 plus years. I am reading the Gospel of Inclusion, such profound I include inclusion in my preaching and teaching and our congregation is evolving into inclusion. We want Christ without Christianity.

Great discussion, Bishop! I noticed that similarities between Egyptian mythology and biblical stories too. The story of Joseph and Potiphar's wife is a replication of the Egyptian myth of Anup and Bata's wife. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Jesus was preincarnated many times. He came to save us into the kingdom of light, the Kingdom of the dear son. He shows us righteousness through acceptance, learning oneness. I have been feeling this as well. Coexistence. Enlightenment and all wisdom comes from God. Wisdom is everywhere for everyone. I worship Christ because from my background it is how the Holy Ghost birthed me into this enlightenment. I believe there is a Hindu woman like me on the other side of the world and the Holy Ghost is interpreting her prayers to Father God just like me. Jesus did save everyone who ever existed each time he came in whatever name you know him by. Everyone that loves is of God and born of God, that's the oneness.

But you know what I found out the truth can be preached and will set you free. Wow, I'm sitting here speechless right now. I grew up following Bishop Pearson, when used to attend The late Bishop Wagners Church in Ohio. I was wondering what ever happened to Bishop Pearson and was excited when I heard his name recently. A friend of mine in the LGBT community mentioned him, so I went to the site and was so happy to see him, I've spent some time viewing videos and I am SOOOO CONFUSED. Ummm, Geez, well, I still Love Bishop Pearson and pray for his success. God Bless you.

Your question has suggestions on it and at the same time obscuring the fact that its possible for the same species to protect a different species from its other species. For instance its possible for my wife to ask me as a father to forgive our daughter, therefore it is a parent protecting a child from a parent. Its therefore possible for God to be a mediator between man and God. We can therefore be saved by God from God.

I agree on having a faith of Jesus but I think we can also have faith in Jesus. Jesus said we must believe in Him. john 14:12 says: Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

In it all Bishop, with all due respect I feel you really have a faith in all faiths and therefore cannot accept Jesus as the Saviour of the world. I will follow most of your teachings to verify if my thoughts are congruent, but in the meantime I would appreciate if you respond to these questions. PEACE

Thanks Bishop Carlton. You do say things that ring true for many people I am sure. Your criticism of the interpretation of the Bible by the many churches is on point. Worshiping Jesus rather than worshiping the creator is missing the point. Jesus is the highest in creation and a representative of God. As humans we tend to put things before God which is making idols. With your great love of Christ and the Bible it is natural that you focus on clarifying these teachings. Perhaps at some point you could look into the deeper and cleaner teachings of Islam. They are very aligned with what you are teaching. Christ is to be followed and loved but not worshipped. This is the Islamic message along with following the final messenger as well as all the messengers before him. Much love. May all seekers be granted the truth.

If you will ever find time, please explain the statement in 34:00 where you say you dont believe in a God that requires blood. You say you follow Jesus but how do you then reconcile your disbelief of the need of blood and what Jesus said that we must break bread in remembrance of Him. I guess you also preached on the lords supper some time ago. Pls help me understand your point here

Hello Brother! Great vids as always! We think so much alike in our explanations. By the way, I too like you still appreciate the "Old Blood Hymns" Musically. They affect me the same way. Not sure if you noticed this, but as a musician, I realized you can replace the word "Blood" in every song with "Love" and the rhythm and rhyme stays the same!!! Now we can sing these songs, and be "true" to where we are now, while still appreciating the style, and art of those songs!! :-) Namaste!!! A.P.Hill

31:57 What you talking about, Willis? A few seconds ago you correctly said Jesus was a Jew. Jesus and his disciples during His earthly ministry were first century orthodox Jews. They would have rejected such Hindu teachings like reincarnation as being pagan and blasphemous.

At 40:09, you say the Bible was written by Jews to Jews. What about 1 Cor, 2 Cor, Romans and other books clearly written for gentile nations. I agree at certain levels that perhaps Timothy can be called a Jew, but other books are clearly to the gentile world. Perhaps the old testament was for Jews or some of them to Jews. Please expatiate, otherwise this wont be true

Jesus cannot be the idol because he is God. John 17 Jesus said, "I and the Father are one." I say thins because I know Jesus personally. He is indeed God along with the Father and the Holy Spirit. And Jesus himself says that he is God.

David Brogan I disagree Christ and Heavenly Father are two separate beings, Christ is not "Heavenly Father in an Earthly Form" Christ sits at the right hand of the Heavenly Father in Heaven, thus he is not the Father - Hebrews 1:3 Christ and Heavenly Father are seen physically standing side by side as two separate people in Heaven - Acts 7:55-56 When Jesus was caught up into heaven, he sat next to God - Mark 16:19 God anointed Jesus Christ with the Holy Ghost - Acts 10:28 The apostate “Trinity” view of God is supported in the Bible on only two verses, 1 John 5:7 & 8. However, these two verses do not exist in the original Greek and Hebrew texts. Revealingly, they are also not found in the original 1611 printing of the King James Holy Bible. They have since been inserted to shore up the apostate concept of the Trinity, and are to be disregarded as fraudulent. In an effort of correction, many modern Bibles are now being printed without these two verses. This correction restores doctrinal continuity throughout the Old and New Testaments and once again renders the concept of the Trinity to be completely void of any scriptural support whatsoever.

David Brogan "I and the Father are one," ....in consciousness. Not as a physicality. Christ is not Jesus' last name. Christ is a title given to anyone Who reached divinity through their faith and the light in which they live. Up until now only Jesus has reached that level on earth, where his consciousness was one with God. This is at-one-ment with God. Others in the heavens have reached divinity, but on earth, only Jesus.

My problem with yall religions people is that god said in the ten commandments that i am a jealous and envy god and there should be no other before me and then u clearly break that commandment with placing Jesus there. First off Jesus never teach about himself. Then u have the tower of Babylon when we built a tower to get closer to god and heaven. And when god saw what we was doing he cast us down with many languages and different book so that we won't come together like that again. @39:30, you say Jesus distanced Himself from the concept of being God. The word good in the context means :intrinsically good, good in nature, good whether it be seen to be so or not, the widest and most colorless of all words with this meaning. It is the same word used in Mathew 12: 34You brood of vipers, how can you who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks. 35The good man brings good things out of his good store of treasure, and the evil man brings evil things out of his evil store of treasure. John 10:11 "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. Here good means according to strongs 2570 kalós - attractively good; good that inspires (motivates) others to embrace what is lovely (beautiful, praiseworthy); i.e. well done so as to be winsome (appealing). Now, do you really now think Jesus was saying He aint good. In my opinion He was saying do you really believe I am God, because only God is good. He didn’t say He’s not. Please exegete further if you think I am out of line here.

Watch his #1 live stream. The bible has more meaning than most of the church realizes. If you were to have met Jesus I am sure he is not how u pictured (in a good way). This is not bout tolerance it is unity. It's understanding the truth in history...beyond /before the bible.

i like Carlton but it's obvious that he's picking things out of the Bible. The Bible clearly talks about hell. It is an unbearable thought for me but i can't change the fact that it's there.

Jesus is God, because your bible tells you so, same as that the bible tells you it's okay to have slaves, to kill disobedient children, to sacrifice animals for God to have a sweet smell in his nose. Before that, with the same details it was : Mithras is God, Dionysus is God, Bacchus is God, Horus is God, etcetera. These are manmade gods given political status, and you are sensitive for it. So now this will be a test for you. Are you bowing down for man and keep projecting "god" fiction or not.

Lots of people are beginning to see, not everyone has the same platform. Bishop Pearson is a teacher, he is bring more understanding from those who heard this message for many people. I heard of this before oprah made it public it's possible he did too...but why does that matter. If the eyes can see now, let them see.

The word "new" and "age" are 2 great word. So New age is this age...not 2000 years ago in which some of us want to stay resident. Those days they lived in huts and fired up bottle lamps for light. In this new age we have mortgages or rents and have to pay for energy. So yes, we are in a new age and no amount of demonising these 2 words will make them undesirable.
