Infini Rose by Maison Alhambra is mere pocket change at $28 for 3.4 oz on Amazon right now. It’s beautiful, very well made & though leaning feminine- is still Unisex. It smells 95% similar to Atomic Rose by Initio. I have both. It definitely has that gothic, stemmy rose with a tiny whiff of BR540 weaving through.

Great vid Sebastian. Lagerfeld's Bois de The my fav from that line. It quickly became my go-to cheap tea scent this year. Sprayed with impunity. I'll have to check out that Biagiotti! ⛳

Etat de Grace and Extrême Pureté from Gres are amazing fragrances and very affordable. Rebel Rose Bud from The Body Shop is a strong ambery rose-saffron perfume. Bois d'Orange, Feuille de Thé and Shiso from Roger&Gallet are all beautiful. Stash from SJP, great complex woody fragrance, unfortunately is getting difficult to find. Livre Blanc and Majestic Green from Zara, amazing scents, as well as Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes (from their recent releases). Tuttotondo Riso and Castagna are both lovely. Verde Arancia from Monotheme Venezia is such a realistic hiper fresh citrus fragrance (Bergamotto is beautiful too).

I recently discovered Zara Ebony Wood. Really nice, and the only Zara bottle I have. Also, another great cheapie frag I recently discovered and bought a full bottle of is Mr. Blass by Bill Blass. Smooth as all get out. Released in 2009, its scent profile harkens back 20 years to those of the Escada Pour Homme, Ralph Lauren Safari, Salvador by Salvador Dali, YSL Jazz, Tsar, etc. DNA. I bought a 4.2 oz. bottle for $30 USD. I spray extremely heavily and get good performance, and can afford it. And can use it in a daily driver rotation and preserve my bottles of Escada, Tsar, and Salvador.

Cabochard is good, but not as good as Leather Jardin - it's such a complex and rich scent that you get the impression that there is only galbanum and moss in Cabochard. Leather Jardin has better longevity and sillage.

Fantastic video! I did blind purchase the Zara leather Jardin. It has longevity but makes me feel so nauseous, which is something that i rarely experience with fragrance. It also reminds me of older people in the 1980’s for some odd reason. Any hoot, thanks for always providing such involved commentary on all of these frags. It’s def appreciated!

Zara Leather Jardin is also my favorite from Zara. Fantastic ! I have 2 bottles. Ajmal- Verde is also fantastic ! Have you ever tried Courreges - Empriente...??? I think you would like it ! I have several from L" Erbolario....very decent scents ! I need to try that Argan Oil Profumo ! Shaghaf Oud Azraq is stunning !!! I think it smells similar to Montale - Honey Aoud....as well. I want to get the new Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud Tonka that just came out. I just ordered the new Nikos Sculpture Parfum. They also have a newer one called Mykonos...???

Sebastien, if you like Gres, try their higher-end line... It is also very inexpensive and the quality is very good.. "Etat de Grace" is my favorite... It is an powdery-spicy-amber fragrance

Aigner no1 Oud is definitely an unsung hero. Very pleasant, wearable and affordable. I reach for it over some much more expensive oud options more often than not - it rarely offends where others can.

I completely agree about the Cabochard- It's very reminiscent of the later Aramis and in my personal opinion, it's in the same vein as great fragrances like the Amouage Jubilation and the L.T. Piver fragrance called Cuir De Russie.... Of course it has it's own unique character, though. All the rest that you mention here are now on my "wish list". Cheers!

I do like Coach Green. It immediately made me think of Dior Sauvage EDT, and its drydown I find it also clealry hints at Sauvage. The similarity is highlighted in Fragrantica and Parfumo, but I've seen two reviews already that do not mention this proximity at all, can't understand why. To me it's kind of a slightly fruitier/fresher/greener take on Sauvage. It also seems to project and last above average, from what I could see on my own hand and paper strips. Once I see it discounted I might buy it.

Omg Zara Leather Jardin is also my favorite in all Zara fragrances. It's not available from where I'm from but i got lucky a lady was selling it in a fragrance group and took a chance and trusted your recommendation and pray to all gods that I'd like it 😅 instant love at first sniff!

My favorite by far niche budget perfume house is La Maison De La Vanille.I use Absolu De Vanille as a layering sent often. Ive layered it with Tabacco 1812 and had people ask me if I was wearing Tom Ford Tabacco Vanille. Not quite sure i get that but non the less a cheaper option.

I mostly buy samples or budget fragrances. I really enjoy Magnificently Dubai (my teething Middle Eastern style fragrance from Zara), and alot of the Dua Brand fragrances I really like! They do dupes/clones/interpretations and originals and hybrids. I also like they dupe discontinued, rare and insanely expensive fragrances so that the average person can experience them. My favorite dupes are A Place in France, Aoud Intense Bleu, A Lover's Elixir, Tempted by Sweets, Dua 195, and Glorified Moon. Their original fragrances Dua's Marine Elixir, A Queen's Castle and Chocolatey Jasmine Charm are fantastic. Also, Swiss Arabian's Areej al Sheila and Sehr al Sheila. And as for Lattafa, their Eternal Oud is incredibly beautiful. I have only been collecting for less than a year.

Protip: Ajmal has an affordable real signature oud fragrance called “Amir One”. Very recognizable oud. Use a couple of sprays of that stuff, not too much (!) in a travel atomizer of your favorite sweet fragrances to oud them up and add a little edge. But try it before dedicating a full atomizer of course.

I found like Finery, Im A Musk is literally the base of all their other fragrances. I have the orange blossom one that duped from Byredos Sundazed, and the cherry one. There are definitely I'm a Musk themes in both of those so i found it would be redundant for me.

I don't see any leather or oud notes in Oajan......hmm....It's actually one of my favorite scents as well. Now I do know that Labdanum is a leathery note but what would the oud be coming from?

Never smelled BR 540 but I've heard people say Bath & Body Works In The Stars is a dupe. In The Stars EDP is discontinued and pretty expensive on eBay but there's an In The Stars body spray/fragrance mist.

Sebastian, do you know L'eau Bleue d'Issey by Issey Miyake? I think it's a very underrated scent: herbal and woody, with an unusual cool freshness. Very masculine. I understand that it was difficult for its time, but now it stands out from the mainstream. Supposedly blue, but green, very natural.
