Whether you call it Zootopia or Zootropolis, this Disney film captured the hearts of fans across the globe. So much so that Disney Plus even went ahead and made Zootopia shorts. While the name of the film may be different depending on where you are in the world, there’s one thing that’s remained the same…all of the films-and the shorts-have hidden easter eggs.
Zootopia follows Judy Hopps, a rabbit who joins the police force in the big city (Zootopia). It isn’t long before she realizes the difficulties of being a rabbit in law enforcement. But her determination to prove herself sets her on a path to uncovering the culprit behind an unsolved case. With the help of the infuriating Nick Wilder of course. Zootopia+, also known as the Zootopia shorts, takes place during the events of the film but delves deeper into what Zootpia’s side characters are up to while Hopps and Wilder are investigating.
But behind this action-packed animated film are easter eggs and hidden details that are waiting for you to uncover. From hidden Mickey’s to parodies of popular reality shows, Zootopia creators really knew how to capture their audience with multiple pop culture tidbits.
