For economy class between Pasar Senen and Yogyakarta, maybe you can try Fajar Utama / Senja Utama Jogja / Solo or Bogowonto instead. It's more decent because using latest version of economy class 2018-2019 series (or people called it Premium Stainless Steel).

Stasiun Lempuyangan is secondary train station, it is for economy class train. The main Jogja's train staion is TUGU.

The train service in Indonesia is actually pretty good, with effective management and decent efficiency. If you're looking for a more comfortable travel experience, I'd recommend giving the executive class a shot.

For the next trip if you wanna use train again and cheap, i suggest you to take a Premium Economy bcoz the seat is adjustable not an upright chair and the price is affordable. Welcome to Jogja and enjoy Jogjakarta ❤️❤️

Welcome to Yogyakarta, ekonomi class not bad cause the view from the train is same 😊. . Yogyakarta have two station, Lempuyangan st. For ekonomi class and Tugu st. for executive class

Inn room rates may be too high, it should be $10 - $12 for the room you are currently in. For $ 18, maybe you can get a 3-star hotel next to the inn, such as the Pyrenees hotel or Malioboro palace. but it doesn't matter it's just an option, have a nice holiday. 😁

be careful if you go out at night in yogya especially if you use motorbike, you can still enjoy really wonderful night life in yogja just don't go over less crowded roads, just don't :).

Perkeretaapian Indonesia sdh sangat maju dan layak meskipun ambil kelas ekonomi tpi fasilitasnya bersih dan nyaman,hanya saja tmpt duduk yg berhadapan seperti kurang nyaman saja dan kurang privasi,so KAI everything is ok! 😊😊 🇮🇩🇮🇩👍👍

Maybe when you go from jakarta to other provinces in java or to bali or to sumatra, you should try sleeper bus.. it will be such convenience experience,, really recommended!

Holla Jay and Carolina u should to spending summertime at Gunungkidul beaches, so many beachs at gunungkidul. Absolutelly u can go to visit mainstream places like a Borobudur temple, Prambanan temple,Ratuboko temple, Tamansari,Yogyakarta palace, Malioboro

Enjoy Yogyakarta guys.. it's a beautiful city of strong Central Java culture.. but stay alert for the scam, like painting exhibiton etc. Just pay attention for that, but don't worry the rest is pretty safe. Please visit Keraton Yogyakarta (Palace) and try the food like bakpia and gudeg..Enjoy your visit..♥️🇲🇨

thats commercial economic class. the cheapest economic class Jakarta to Yogyakarta vv name is Bengawan train , fare only 74k Rupiah (USD 5)-it subsidized by state (public service obligation). Only one train/day, so passenger usually booking one month before date.

story of Yogya is led by the king and the king is also the governor of Yogya, Yogya is a special provence in Indonesia. on Indonesian independence Yogya joined Indonesia, they had traditional troops guarding the palace, Yogya did not have an army and police because they were control in the central government.

Actually economy class has two types, basic and premium one now, it depends on of the train. I think Jaka Tingkir train still has the basic one. But the KAI as i know will improve all the economy class to premium one. Because both has the same range of price of ticket but different facilities. The premium has facilities closer to executive class.

You are smart and wise traveller choosing the day train for your trip. You will be paid with astonishing scenery along the way. All of the train class in indonesia with AC from the lowest class to the most expensive class. In some class with free WiFi on board. No hasle and every passanger have a seat, good service and on time dep. and arrival. Lempuyangan station is not the main station of Yogyakarta, The Lempuyangan only for the economy class station, the main Station is Tugu station, nearby Malioboro street. Of course it's will be very sore and so tiring taking 8 hours with economy class. Economy class just for 2 - 3 hour trip, short trip it's still ok.

nice economy class. this economy class is called Ekonomi Kemenhub. with seat configuration 2-2. you still get enough space for your knees. if u get PSO (Public Service Obligation) Economy. thats the coolest adventure sensations, zero space for your knees. and you will get more in weekend.😅

if you are a first timer to try the economy yeah i encorouge u to try.ive been try the economy class from jakarta to central java and took bout 10hrs! after that i never ride economy class ever again 😅. my back hurt after that long and static sit.

Just used the executive one, the price not to far. To enjoy Indoensia that so very large & diverse, you have to be fit. So use the most comfortable one. It’s not expensive anyway but it will save your energy. You can sleep & rest well in it.

If you Notice All station in Indonesia have Phone Charging Station , i never found this in Europe And now they Have Free Refill for water Every train also has charging in every seat even the Economi one And very easy to find free Toilet , in Europe we have to pay till 2 Euro ( idr 30 000 )

Untuk bangku kereta api jarak jauh di Indonesian sudah mulai diganti dengan yang lebih nyaman. Sebagian sudah memakai bangku seperti di bus. Jadi hanya ada dua baris kiri kanan. Dan jumlah seat dalam satu gerbong akan dikurangi demi kenyamanan.
