Hearing all these accounts is encouraging. I recall in 2014 that I broke down so badly as they were lowering my mom’s casket into the ground. It was like SO final for me. The preacher told me, “baby if your mom could come back I promise you she wouldn’t want to. She is alright!”. I wonder now had he ever had a NDE himself or was he speaking from having had some things revealed to him due to his time spent with God as a pastor/minister.

John 10:34 I had a vision in early 2022 of a huge mass of light energy is the best way I can describe it that I understood to be God shattering Himself into trillions upon trillions of pieces and immediately was told/shown that’s where we as human beings and everything comes from. We are literally a part of Him and each other. It was very clear.

I am 64.5 years old. I left a religion back in 2016, which I had spent the better part of 43 years in, and ever since, I've been on a search for God/Jesus, or whatever you want to call the Creator. After listening to your experience and thoughts, I ordered A Course in Miracles. I'm hoping that I will find my answers in there. I enjoyed listening to this podcast. This was one of the best NDE talks I've watched.I love the simplicity of what the meaning of life is. Simple but not always easy! Love. I live in a nursing home with around 120 residents plus staff. I have tried so hard to like A Course In Miracles but I just dont. It feels kind of cultish and I jusr cant trust anything or anyone that tries to make me look at or feel something other than what God reveles to me personally and what I choose to think and feel about anything. I simply cannot follow someone elses path and opinions. And some of it sounds kind of silly to me. But I trust that God will lead me to what is right for me.

At min 35.30, he talks about hedging your bets, says he is either all in, or not. And if you don't believe in God,then you could/ would rape, plunder etc. I think the choice is more subtle, broad. You don't live your life to please God. You learn to recognize that love, being love, receiving love, giving love, is deeply more satisfying than just taking/doing what we want, when we want. To leave a trail of shattered lives behind, while being self absorbed is a lonely existence indeed. That is the lesson of free will.

Heather, I love your channel very much (I know many others). You look to me as an honest, sincere, easy and kind person. This is a wonderful video and I think a lot like this guy only I never had a NDE. Alan Watts has a few videos about life and death that are very interesting. He devoted his life to studying all the major religions and philosophies. He died in 1973 but many of his lectures have been published on youtube.

I am not a Christian , but Jesus is among those lofty Superspirits I have idolised for decades. NOT because of Resurrection. By the way, that book found me in a heap of discarded books outside a Singapore school library, and I just picked it up with no great expectations. It also speaks of God's sense of humour. Agarophobia! Lesson for her, or for me? Or for both?! "Soul contracts". Brian Weiss' "Many Masters Many Lives" talks of this, which many a Mr. and Minister love to rubbish. I am terrfied of suffering which often precedes death. That is one reason Jesus is so exalted in my heart. I have to be content with the belief that this experience of life and death is designed with Love, and that when the time comes, I shall be provided with whatever it takes to see me through . A planetary consciousness where everyone is loving, kind and compassionate to all. Where we all treat each other as our brothers and sisters. We see every human as another Us. Jesus is the example. I enjoy these NDE tales but I believe that it is inaccurate, no, ridiculous, to think or to say that "we" are gods, or anything similiar. Jesus was God's only begotton Son and that means He came from God; He is sinless and infinite in time and in space and in every other dimension. Humans were created by God, in His Image, but we are creatures with finite abilities and understanding and God's Word says that all of us are sinful and in need of a Redeemer. My comments are directed toward Christian people and not to any other theological stage. From my high school years until my early 30s I had become an angry and hate filled atheist and I proudly lived that way. I served in the military, attended college and I was as immoral as any other man I had met in my years up to and until I was halted in my tracks by several events that, over a period of time led to my conversion of being 'born again. I now know and understand that the Holy Spirit had stepped in to do the dirty work of cleaning me up. The following is one experience I had and it is a brief description. In 1981 I experienced a profound OBE where I suddenly found myself outside of myself and in another dimension. I clearly remember being aware of something not being 'right' about this event but I didn't get upset, I stayed curious and took things in, as best as I could. My recollection is hazy but one of the first things I saw was almost like being in an aquarium filled with sea life but I was on the outside, looking in. I saw other beautiful landscapes and that kind of thing and then I began watching scenes of desert warfare in what appeared to be the Middle East. I was also shown suffering in places that I cannot pinpoint as far as location. The scenes changed quickly and I cannot recall all of it but turned to my left and I saw people behind a sort of veil who appeared to be focused on a man who was speaking but I could not see any of them plainly. Suddenly I felt someone of something grasp my left arm in his hand and I began moving very rapidly through an intense darkness. The movement stopped and I was led past a large home that was also veiled and then I found myself looking over the right shoulder of a figure, whose face I could not see. His hair was long and grey and he looked to be wearing a judge's robe. As I stood there, his right hand was turning the pages of a large book and he appeared to be scanning the book, like a ledger, as if he was searching for my name. Then he closed the book and I found myself moving back through the darkness to the place from where I had been taken. Not a word or thought was exchanged between me and who ever had caused this event and suddenly I woke up and was in my room. I was shaken from it and I took part of it to mean that my soul was in great danger so I doubled down on finding my way to the Lord. It was all uphill for me and much of it seems like it was an act of Will. But I know now that I was having to work out my own salvation and I wasn't really alone. I came to realize that mine was a subjective experience that influenced me but it's value would be lost on others. So, I came to understand that rather than lean too heavily upon a subjective experience such as an NDE or OBE or a psychic episode with DMT or some kind of hallucinogenic, where we certainly are not in control of the events we are experiencing, it is probably a good idea to trust what God's Word says about Himself and not read too much into these experiences. He will lead us but faith and trust, patience and self control are required for any journey back to Him.

The older Bible versions say “the only begotten of the father”, while I’ve read newer ones that read “the only son of God”. If the Bible is true, and God the Father IS the actual father of Jesus (which I believe), then he may be the only “begotten” son, while we are all sons (children) too.

I think we are not given a manual to follow or given instructions on what we should do on the earth because Its better for us to find it on our own and genuinely learn it rather than just follow instructions witch would be pointless.

Yeah the God of the Bible always bothered me but the idea of God does not. I always thought that if God truly wrote the Bible it would be made with an element that exists nowhere in the universe other than inside the Bible that would make it literally indestructible..... But the fact that God did not in fact write the Bible and that it was instead divinely inspired instead of divinely written.... That tells me there is room for error especially if I can change it. And it's funny because Christian say that the Bible's been consistent and you can't change it That hasn't stopped me from taking a Sharpie and crossing out a word before or looking at somebody else's Bible that is literally missing a verse........ So if the Bible is truly holy and we all have to read it before we die to know God and develop a relationship with him before we die to go to heaven Then that is an evil God.... Especially when not everybody has access to a Bible..... And christians Always like to say that everybody on earth gets a chance to hear about God but that's obviously not true because there are isolated tribes of humans that Live in the Amazon rainforest for instance That don't speak our language and cannot learn about God because they can't read the Bible.... So God would literally have to come to them and introduce himself but if God doesn't do that then those guys are automatically just fucked 😂 There are just so many issues with the way God is described in the Bible. I basically view the Bible as a collection of stories written by individuals who were inspired to write about the profound things that they experienced in their own way...... And that's it. It's a human translation of a divine experience so of course you are going to get some shit wrong or misinterpreted 😂 The Bible is not perfect gold man it's flawed and it has some copper in it mixed in. It's up to us to discern the truth I mean if the God of the Bible exists then we are all really fucked because he judges us off of belief and faith in him when we have no evidence..... A good God would reveal himself to us like in the Old Testament and then judge us based off of whether we chose to follow him once that truth was revealed to us. Fortunately I think there is a God and it's not the God of the Bible that sends you to hell and judges you based off of sins that you made out of bad judgment In this limited lifespan that does not deserve eternal torment as punishment. I think it's just like the guy in the video explained where we wanted to go here and people and hell are those who want to reject God..... I mean all the near death experience videos I hear where they Go to hell all they had to do is call out on the name of God and they would be Saved and the Bible does describe that..... So really I'm not worried
