The only way to make this gimped disappointment usable is to keep it in third gear or above at all times. The transmission lag is just unacceptable at low speeds and at technical circuits. That, or get a 787B for the same price but a 3.5 million times more pleasant experience to drive.

Pixy _ the acceleration, top speed, durability and weight (the lightest LM) is the best of all 3.5 and 4.5 million cars. The delay in transmission is acceptable, because this car just lose to the Fórmula Gran Turismo in performance.

Rodrigo Vicente While I agree on the 905's titanic durability, (it is the friendliest car on the tires and maybe on fuel too in GT4) and low weight, it's acceleration is still hampered by the lag between the first three gears, and it's top speed is average (around 350km/h max?). The Pescarolo C60 Courage is pretty much just as friendly on it's tires and fuel and performs better on city tracks because it doesn't suffer from low gear transmission problems. The Toyota 88-CV Minolta has the quickest acceleration of any LMP in the game, second highest speed to the Toyota GT-One, and when considering lap times, the Minolta is second to the FGT on virtually any track you test it on.. Now don't get me wrong, I love the 905, the weight and high revving engine is truly awesome. Only that this car is more fun to use in later GT's due to the absence of it's one major downside presented in the video

Gran Turismo 6 fixes it and it becomes one of the best LMPs.

It's actually pretty cool imo. It gives you a nice break. I managed to get a pretty cool job, travelled the world, become a CEO, retired and then saw my Grandkids graduate before the 905 shifted gears. If it had been quicker, I would have probably never had those experiences.

Did you try tuning the weaker cars? With a little bit of tweaking, even a CLK can keep up with those two
