I was at live events back in the 80s and early 90s and continued to go throughout my life.. I can tell you that nothing comes even remotely close to when Hogan's music would hit back in his prime. you can feel the roar of the crowd from the top of your head, to the bottom of your feet. it's like no other feeling. The only other guy that got pops like Hulk was Austin.

You see the Altitude era and ruthless aggression era sold shows out. you see many of these are just Raws not ppv shows. It was a different time. The only time they sold out before then was wrestmania. They can't even do that anymore. Drew would not get half the pop he would have in a different era

The pop that Austin got when he helped Mankind win the title was far larger than the win itself and the single biggest pop ever. There also wasn’t any mention of not just the initial pop for the Hart Foundation at Canadian Stampede but how it also stay insanely loud throughout the entire match. So loud the cameras shook.

When everything goes dark and the lights hit, and theres undertaker behind his opponent. Between that and when the glass shatters for stone cold, those are moments I'll never forget. I missed mankind winning the title since he is one of favorite wrestlers now because as a kid I didnt appreciate him like I should and looking back he was the most underrated legend, chokes me up watching it.

I think there's a reason why almost every single one of those pops came in the attitude era and after. They didn't Mic the crowd up like that before the 2000's. Mind you that's not taking anything away from the reactions those guys got. I'll add two. Bret Hart's return in 2010 was a massive pop and the Canadian Stampede in 97 was massive as well.

No, the reason is that now wwe is desperate for ratings, do they already reveal that someone is gonna be on the show. For example "John Cena to address wrestlemania rumors on next week's smackdown" Or on their backstage saying "John Morrison has signed with wwe and will feature on Friday night smackdown"

With the internet being just about unanimously accessible and information being all over the place, that sort of info will inevitably get leaked nearly every time. They might as well just be upfront about it and take the wind out of the sails of anyone trying to leak info.

I remember moments of The Undertaker returning in several occasions especially during the 90s on which the crowd exploded with cheers, and when he defeated Sycho Sid winning his second WWF championship on Wrestlemania 13 Kane also had his moments too

The biggest pop that I remember was Jericho's WWF debut. I knew it was coming, but it was still incredible to see. The same goes with Edge's return at this year's Royal Rumble (Although not as great a pop as Y2J's debut).

The biggest pop I remember is when Chris Jericho pinned Triple H to win the WWF title due to Earl Hebner's fast count. The win was 'removed from history' later that night and the title was returned to Triple H.

I was at HHH returning at MSG. It was the loudest crowd I’ve ever heard anywhere, world series games, nba playoffs, nfl playoffs, nothing was that loud.

I was in Montreal for No Way Out 2003 when Austin returned. Everybody knew he'd show up to whoop Eric Bischoff but the crowd reaction was nuclear. Pretty sure my hearing was damaged that day.
