Today's video topic is MUSIC! Everyone likes to listen to different types and genres, but today I want to show you some weirder musical instruments. 🎻 You know that at #theclashers I'm always looking to enrich you and even though I'm far from music in general, I can still find some interesting facts for you to educate yourself on. In general, the theme of the channel is science and education, and #music should become part of them. In school I remember we were studying music and one class they showed us a super weird musical #instrumental It was a kind of clarinet and today it's in the video. You're going to hear some really interesting stuff today.
The hurdy-gurdy sounds strange, and hardly anyone would guess that such a musical instrument exists, but it is a fact. It is also known as a lyre on wheels. They define its sounds as a mix of the buzzing of a fly and a guitar, but it is actually a kind of lantern and even has a handle. The cajon looks like a cross between an old-fashioned locker and a doghouse, but it's actually a percussion instrument. Its homeland is Peru, it originated at the beginning of the 19th century, while plantation workers hit wooden crates to create a rhythm. Now we're off to Japan, my favorite country when it comes to weirdness. Their musical instruments are not far behind and now I will introduce you to Otamatona. I told you the journey today would be long. There will be Black Friday deals because some of the tools are downright expensive. Some hydroulophones look like street fountains with many holes from which jets of water come out, which the musician presses and thus plays. I always strive for diversity for the channel and I hope I have achieved it here as well. The shots are suitable for the whole family. You can watch together!
Usually tools are created to be used by humans, but in Croatia there is one whose master is the sea. Hear what the world's first sea organ is capable of. The city of Zadar is located on the Adriatic Sea. Fire is the last thing I would think of when we talk about making music, but here is an instrument. As you can see from the design of the HANG instrument, it was invented recently, in 2000 to be precise, and its homeland is unexpectedly Switzerland, I would bet Korea or something. Its price is around BGN 3,300 per piece, but with the Black Friday offers you can get it at a discount. Playing glass cups filled with water is called the harmonica. When a wet finger is run along their edge, the glasses vibrate and as soon as the vibrations match the natural frequency of the glass, a sound is produced. As the name suggests, the Alphorn comes from the Alps and is made from a single piece of wood. Their length reaches 3 meters and the logistics are quite complicated, that's why they are already separated. The Theremin is a musical instrument that was the product of a Soviet lab funded by the government to make non-contact sensors. Instead, however, they made a musical instrument that can be played without physical contact on the part of the musician.
