2:12 hi, the effect is actually normally the same this happens because if you unsand an enemy, then the sand effect won't appear again if you re-sand it

another fun fact for you: the leviathan's bite attack is actually parriable despite the blue flash, but it's frame perfect. hakita wanted it to be parriable but it was damn near impossible, so he just gave it a blue flash and didnt remove the ability to parry it

Fun fact: On the rafters above that arena you can find a bar of soap. You can get it with the whiplash so it is possible to see that colorful arena without cheats.

That "chaos emerald" is actually a reference to another newblood game called dusk. In ultrakill there are several references to Dusk, e.g.: soap (in each dusk level there is a hidden soap that oneshots the opponent) Prepare thyself (this is a short message shown after entering the level) +Groovy (this is a reference to what Duskdude says after picking up the shotgun on the first floor of the house in e1m1) Johnihilator (he is one of the bosses in the second episode of the game)

5:30 that crystal is called the crystal of madness and it's a reference to DUSK which is another FPS game published by new blood. its effect is that it makes enemies fight each other if you throw it at them. the soap is also a reference to DUSK.

the desc doesn't lie about the insurr maurice healing you, you're just too close for the shots to hit the maurice, therefore not giving blood. another thing i find odd is that only revolvers/blue and red rails can heal you, and that nails will bounce off and rockets will explode but heal nothing. hope you find this useful!

Additional Facts... 1. Parrying a virtue with a three-pump shotgun instakills it 2. It is mentioned in her terminal entry but if you launch a Manequin into the air (with, say, a pboost) or knock them off a wall or ceiling you can also parry them 3. Cerbs prioritise different attacks depending on range-- expect a shoulder charge or apple if you're closing the gap! 4. The boulder was probably also sanded in this clip, but still, it's not exactly worth it to go for healing from the boulder since it only responds to hitscans and insurrs move about a lot 5. These are still physical objects that you can ricoshet a sharpshooter shot off of 6. I think? Gabe's wing/halo colors represent his emotions? Like blue being uncaring, yellow being passionate, and red obviously being _pissed_ 7. Short king 8. The SRS cannonball's ground shockwave has the same property of activating landmines 9. You can coinpunch to give the ferryman your coin from a distance, making escape from jakito possible without opening up the exit afterward

another fun fact: V2's hit scans are actually coded like projectiles, so they can't be chargebacked and can be parried at range, in fact all of the first v2's attacks can be parried also if you do try to chargeback a bullet from v2, even the first one, it will always counter-rickoshot back at you (might also happen with the beam but i haven't tested it)

for your number 4. Turns out I was wrong about the boulder. You need a hit scan weapon (like revolver) and you also can't be right next to it. Projectiles will go through it for some reason. I'm currently testing some of the other things you brought up :)

For number 7 you can actually get blood from it using a default revolver shot. It may be related to whether it's a hitscan attack or whether it can pierce, since shotgun doesn't heal either

the thing about the insurrectionist's boulder isnt a lie, but for some reason some projectiles pass through it. you can heal by shooting at the boulder with the revolver or the electric railcannon

yeah I just saw earlier today that all shotgun projectiles use the same code as the swordsmachine and that that's the whole reason projectile boosting is a thing. I knew about projectile boosting, but not that you could parry other shotguns (mostly because their aim is atrocious as shown in the vid)

V1 doesn't have a gender, but people (me included) like to refer to it as He because of the TTS voice people use for it. V2 doesn't have a gender either however Hakita thinks using She/Her for V2 is pretty cool
