@@joshportie❌ The laws tells you, ‘protects’ you, relatively ‘rewards’ and pays you daily in disorder to break & disobey GOD’s Laws. 🚫You guys care, fear and obey laws SIGNIFICANTLY MORE, if not totally, than you ever obey GOD’s Laws. GOD’s Laws is NOT ‘supreme’: it is the one and only laws, incomparably and immutably. Because in the KJV it says to obey your master, and that is likely a wrong translation. I always suspected that someone like the Free Masons got a hold of things and did a few adjustments. I think 1560 Geneva would be my choice. After all, a king doesnt want to lose his seat.

The 1500 Mathew version is the best in my opinion. Because it's the most hated version there is. You can't even find it's translation when merely googling it. Because it says flat earth in it in Samuel 2nd. I have a vid on it myself. ❤ The flat earth literally opened my eyes to Gods existence. He showed me his creations in way's I can't deny his intelligent design. The pure symmetries of everything. How molecules & even scaling up to whole designs like a human. Pure symmetry through & through. Perfect shapes & even mathematics to reference the side's of all things. Example like how everything just about has 2 eyes. 2 hands. 2 Feet. & Even beyond that the star constellations the way they're set like a clock in the skies never changing even from ancient cultures till modern day. Psalms 19.1 the heavens declare the glory of God & the firmament showeth his handiwork. Frequencies creating the same geometries as molecule collections with breathtaking Precision. As though God Spoke everything into existence with Frequencies. The subject on Symmetries of creation can no doubt be proof of a creator. God almighty does indeed exist. & The way all laws of physics & frequency & vibration & electromagnetism work in unison like a machine suggests the world is a complex computer a mechanism made up of different elements come together to create a machine set with specific Boundaries & rules to it's design. As though this could really be a simulation. But not in the sense that everyone & everything is a digital rendering. It's far more complex then that. Every electron & atom & molecule work's perfectly in unison together almost as though they're Sentient & intelligent & come together to create silicon based life forms & beyond. I'm not saying we live in the matrix but I'm not saying we're not in it either. God's designs can't be summed up in a context made by men. Not myself nor any scholar. Job 38:4-11 King James Version (KJV) - Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if thou hast understanding. I feel absolutely Humbled by his handiwork. God's unfathomably awesome. Can't people see the forest for the trees anymore. Are so many so lost they can't see when God created this world it was Good. It was corrupted by the fallen & their children whom are still in charge of the world today. As in the day's of Noah So shall it be again. The world can't be fixed by apathetic behavior. Every individual must account for his or her own situation in life. For any scenario imaginable. A solution must be drawn. Where would human advancement be without investigation & discovery through hard diligent passion for their trade. God's grace & mercy are boundless. For the wickedness this world has seen & continues to see while seeking knowledge can't be measured. All lifeforms are energy. Energy can't be destroyed it can only transform. Is not the spirit the same. It being like an energy changes from clinging to it's flesh to ascension or descension. These words are the conclusion to over a decade of consistent research into well pretty much everything. Namely the truth & what aligns itself with biblical scriptures. This subject can not be articulated precisely. God's creation is beyond any mortal mind's comprehension.

What a difference even just "should" being taken out for the meaning. I've always been taught "Ye though I WALK.." as if we are doing it rather it before said "Ye though I SHOULD walk" as more of and 'if' or 'when you do'. Because one seems to refer to constantly being in the shadow of death and one seems to refer to it not being a constant thing.

Amend your ways being more accurate simply requires one to understand that, according to the Bible, salvation is three-fold: 1. Jesus saves us 2. Preachers save us 3. We save ourselves All through the process of "repentance" which most believers think means feeling bad and asking forgiveness. It means changing your mind about something. Repenting of sin means changing one's mind about the desirability of being ruled by sin, or forsaking that terrible task master for the blessing of being a slave of Christ! :o) So far, so good! I'm loving it, and looking forward to getting the Geneva Bible as soon as possible.

You are right on about what repentance, or metanoia (to change one’s mind) means.
@thegoodgift
@thegoodgift Жыл бұрын
The repentance that Jesus commanded is simply changing what you believe. Whatever you trust in now, stop trusting in that and trust in me. Matthew 21:31-32 implies that repentance leads to belief. Hebrews 6:1 says that repentance from dead works is a foundational doctrine of the faith, so it’s safe to say that this is the same repentance Jesus commanded. Jesus commanded the Jews, who trusted in their works of the law, to stop trusting in those dead works, and trust in Him. Repentance of sin for salvation is not required, because that would be works of the law (You turn from lying by obeying the law, you turn from fornication by obeying the law), and we know that we are not saved by our works of the law. God bless brother.
@busker153
@busker153 Жыл бұрын
@@thegoodgift Repentance from sin is absolutely, essentially, and foundationally essential to salvation. To repent because the law says so, and you want to earn God's favor, is doing a work of the law. To repent because Jesus Christ commanded it is not a work of the law. Christians are to obey the commandments of Jesus Christ, even when they parallel the commands of the law. Jesus says to love God with all your heart. Is that a work of the law? God forbid! We are not saved by our works, and we cannot be saved without them.

@@busker153 How to be saved and have eternal life: 1. Realize that you, like everybody else, is a wicked sinner. (1 John 1:8) "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." 2. The penalty for sin is death. (Romans 6:23) "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." 3. Everybody's flesh will die, but our soul has to pay for our sins too. Because of this we all deserve to go to hell, and on the day of judgement, hell will be tossed into the eternal lake of fire. This is the second death. (Revelation 20:14) "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." 4. But God loves us so much, that he doesn't want us to go through this, He wants us to live with Him for eternity. So He sent Jesus Christ, the perfect image of God, to save us. (John 3:16) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." 5. Jesus Christ lived a perfect life with no sin. Because of this, and the fact that He is God in the flesh, He was the perfect sacrifice to pay for the sins of the whole world; past, present, and future. When He died on the cross, this is exactly what He did. After He died He was buried, and on the third day He rose again, proving that He was the messiah. This is THE GOSPEL. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) 6. This is God's free gift to us. The gift of eternal life, and of escape from hell and the second death. All we have to do to receive this gift is BELIEVE THE GOSPEL. We DO NOT get into heaven by our own merit. The only thing that justifies us before God is our faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9) "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." 7. Jesus promises that whosoever believes on Him will never come into condemnation. This means that once you believe the gospel, you are forever secured in Him. There is nothing you can do to lose your salvation. (John 5:24) "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." This is how to get saved according to the bible. Works (i.e. turning from sin, good deeds, etc.) DO NOT play a part in your salvation. Our righteousness is as filthy rags to the Lord (Isaiah 64:6), so we have to depend on the righteousness of Jesus. His righteousness is the only righteousness that pleases God. This is His free gift to us all why not just accept it right now by faith? What do you have to lose? This life is temporary but there are eternal consequences at stake. God bless you.

@@carmencampeanu7810 No, it's not. If the Mandela effect has any truth in it (which I doubt), it would NOT be able to change God's Word unless HE wanted to change it -- and He has stated that His Word does NOT change. However I looked again and saw that I had not read it correctly. What He said was, Matthew 23 (1599 Geneva): 8 But be not ye called, Rabbi: for one is your doctor, to wit, Christ, and all ye are brethren. 9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for there is but one, your father which is in heaven. 10 Be not called doctors: for one is your doctor, even Christ. 11 But he that is greatest among you, let him be your servant. I find it interesting that actually Jesus said basically, "Don't YOU have others call you Rabbi, or doctor or father. The "father" one to me is tricky, since He obviously didn't mean we should not call our biological father our father -- but look what the "Catholic church" did: they have people call ALL of their many thousands of priests "Father this" and "Father that" and "the Father." DIRECT DISOBEDIENCE TO CHRIST all day long. Just that one thing alone should be enough for people to realize they must get OUT of that apostate institution, but there are many other reasons that don't take a whole lot of effort to learn once you ALLOW yourself to look at that institution critically.

@@carmencampeanu7810 No. It is misunderstandings. Those who want to deceive the whole world have subtly and slowly caused it to SEEM that way. Look into the history and you will find it NEVER said the lion will lay with the lamb, BUT and artist (using "artistic license" drew it that way and it became a famous painting) plus someone wrote a hymn for churches saying the same thing. Both the artist and the hymn writer may easily have been like so many today who DO NOT READ their Bibles but just believe what people TELL them is in the Bible. Lions and lambs are BOTH mentioned in that same paragraph or chapter, just never as "lion and the lamb" (and if it is, it is a bad translation).

The Sovereign Lord of the universe is not anonymous. He has identified himself some 7,000 times in the Bible as Jehovah. He attributes vital importance to his name. The third of the Ten Commandments states: “You must not take up the name of Jehovah your God in a worthless way, for Jehovah will not leave the one unpunished who takes up his name in a worthless way.” And Jesus highlighted his Father’s name in the Lord’s Prayer, saying, “Let your name be sanctified.”-Exodus 20:7; Matthew 6:9. Christendom’s record in honoring God’s name is dismal. Even the King James Bible of 1611 uses the name Jehovah, alone and in combination, only seven times. Other translations have totally eliminated the name. Most religions fail to honor it. Instead, they have elevated their “holy” Trinity and, in some cases, Mary the so-called Mother of God above the God of the Bible. Jehovah’s precious name has been allowed to sink into relative disuse. The King James Bible has already been changed; today no one reads the King James Version in its original form. Explaining why this is so the book The Bible in Its Ancient and English Versions says: “Almost every edition, from the very beginning, introduced corrections and unauthorized changes and additions, often adding new errors in the process. The edition of 1613 shows over three hundred differences from 1611. . . . It was in the eighteenth century, however, that the main changes were made. . . . The marginal references were checked and verified, over 30,000 new marginal references were added, the chapter summaries and running headnotes were thoroughly revised, the punctuation was altered and made uniform in accordance with modern practice, textual errors were removed, the use of capitals was considerably modified and reduced, and a thorough revision made in the form of certain kinds of words.” So many changes have been made, many of them in the readings of passages, that the Committee on Versions (1851-56) of the American Bible Society found 24,000 variations in six different editions of the King James Version! What, then, of the objections raised by persons who say they do not want the King James Bible changed? Since the King James Version has already been changed, they lie on a crumbled foundation. If these persons do not want it changed, then why do they use, instead of a copy of an edition of 1611, an edition that has been changed? They use a present-day edition of the King James Bible because it is far easier to read. They appreciate, perhaps unknowingly, the improvements the later editions have made. They do not like the odd spelling and punctuation of the 1611 edition; they do not want to read “fet” for “fetched,” “sith” for “since” or “moe” for “more,” as the edition of 1611 had it. Thus improvement, when needed, is appreciated, even by those who say they object to any changing of the King James translation. No, God himself authorizes his dedicated servants to translate his Word into understandable language. The fact that King James authorized a Bible translation does not make it the exclusive version that the Author of the original Bible approves his servants to use in any one language. In fact, kingly authorization, instead of great benefits, has brought serious disadvantages. King James set forth certain rules of procedure. These the translators followed. One of those rules was that “the old Ecclesiastical words [were] to be kept.” Thus the translators were bound to follow the Bishop’s Bible in using certain ecclesiastical words, whether or not these words represented an accurate translation of the original Bible. For example, the ecclesiastical word “bishop” appears in the King James Version, although the original word, correctly translated, merely means “overseer.” In many respects the beliefs of King James adversely affected the Bible translation called after his name. The translators, feeling somewhat bound to favor the king, were obliged to color the translation with the king’s notions of predestination and kingly rights, as well as with others of the king’s ideas. It is also apparent from the fact that some of the translators complained that they could not follow their own judgment, being restrained by “reasons of state.” The result: the King James Version is not a true reflection of the minds of the translators of the version. Above all, it comes far short of being a faithful reflection of the mind of Jehovah God, as it appears in the original manuscripts.

But Christ did say he would send us the Holy Spirit to be a comforter to us. So how can they be the same? The trinity teaching is a gentile teaching that was not reckognized by the Apostles and the early church. It came through the Greco Roman teachings much later, nearly a century a.d. Also, Christ was black. That’s why the Bible says the apostles (Peter, John, and James) were first called “niger” at Antioch. Niger means black, and that’s where we get the “N” word today. So if Christ’s disciples were black men, what color was Christ? Black. I hope this helps you Sir. God Speed

I think John 3:36 has a very interesting difference. In the Geneva (1599 Tolle Lege) one MUST obey Jesus; in the KJV obedience is not even mentioned in this verse: Geneva 1599: "He that believeth in the Son, hath everlasting life, and he that obeyeth not the Son, shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him." King James: He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (In my studies of scripture I have come to believe that the two most important things followers of Jesus must do are TRUST and OBEY him.)

I have a name I was given at birth. If you go to the bank or anywhere else that will only except my birth name and try to use a nickname they not going to except it? Acts 2: 12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Matt 1: 21And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call HIS NAME ( the angel called Him Yeshua: Yah is Salvation). JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Proverbs 30: 4Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is HIS NAME and what is HIS SON’S NAME, if thou canst tell?

its funny, when we cry we enter a state in which our neurons can rewire. This is why we only cry once about things because our brain, while crying, rewires to adjust and accomodate whatever we were crying about. Repentance actually means change of mind. When we are sorry for our sins, so much that we cry unto our lord about having committed them, thats when we can say we truely repented, because even on a physical level we know that we changed our mind. Ita amazing ❤

The King James corrects some of the errors and biases of the Geneva Bible, but it is only a Partial Correction. The Geneva Bible went out of print for 400+ years for a reason, I suspect because of the effort to harmonize it with Calvin's Institutes instead of attempting to find out what Scripture really said. I note that the gradual removal of the Deuterocanonical Books, initiated by Luther but later more actively pursued by Calvin and the Calvinists, helped to remove Scripture adverse to Calvin's Doctrines. Also noteworthy is the preference of the Masoretic Texts (especially from Jews hostile to Christianity) over the Septuagint originally used by the Apostles. The Triumph of the KJV (commissioned by the morally bankrupt King James) over the Geneva Bible is mostly due to Man's natural inclination towards products of superior quality.

@@GD-tn3ez The NIV comes from the Alexandrian Text (Codices Sinaiticus and Vaticanus) and not from the Textus Receptus that the KJV used for transcription. Those scholars were well aware of the Codex Vaticanus and rejected it. Many of the main modern Bible translations use the Greek New Testament from Westcott and Hort, in which these two hated the KJV and were involved in the occult. Also, coming from this product came the Nestle-Aland Greek New Testament, which has went through 28 revisions since its inception. There may be many similarities between modern versions and the KJV but those subtle differences have increased over the years. The Alexandrian Texts have only been accepted by their age and only dated by their writings but the old scholars in the 1800s still rejected it by their errors and writings that did not fully match the era.

I like the way you say people just don't understand English. It was not harsh or accusatory; simply factual, and presented as a natural part of the explaination. Very skillful presentation of a harsh fact with gentle speech; most impressive. The use of capital letters for things like the word Name are clearly interpretive, as the original Greek and Hebrew texts did not have any lowercase letters. A little known fact that cracks me up, to be honest. So, I never get hung up on caps verses lowercase. I have decided to read the Geneva Bible next, but am not sure which version to buy. Should I get a 1560 because it is the best (I do not know if it is or not at this point), or the 1599 for the same potential reason? If readability of language and type font are not an issue (I love the language of the KJV -- or is it the K I V ? Couldn't resist!), would you have an opinion as to which one I should buy first?

It was Puritan John Reynolds who submitted the idea of the making of a better Translation to the King at the Hampton Conference in Jan of 1604. Side by side and line upon line there is no comparison of the Geneva Bible (1569 or 1599) with the Authorized Version of 1611. Thank you for your video im looking forward to getting a Geneva bible, I think of rev 22:18-19 when I think of changing words or removing things so I'd like to stay close to the orginal as possible. One fault I found is Jesus is certainly not his original name, it was Yeshua which means Savior in Hebrew. That would have been how everyone addressed him and the name he went by. Was Methuselah actually more than 960 years old? Not in the original text...these ages and timeliness were changed. Compare them for yourself and see what I'm saying. WHO changed these saints' ages and WHY? Could it possibly have been so that Jesus lineage would not prove true?

One point of significant difference is in Romans 3:23. (There is a slight difference in the verse division) Geneva: For there is no difference: for all have sinned, and are deprived of the glory of God, KJV: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; It seems that there is a shift in the translation in the KJV with the various pre-KJV translation expressing some sort of barrier to the glory of God.

I hate to tell you pastor but that is not the only difference or reason. Geneva is filled with Calvinist notes in the margin. The Geneva has as its namesake the city in which Calvin established rule of law that oversaw every aspect of life. Enforcing “his” laws even to the killing of a child for taking back to its parents, the torture and imprisonment for things that should have been minor offenses. He also oversaw the death of more than one by burning at the stake and beheading, again for what should have been minor offenses. I’ll stop there and not mention the connection with the Roman Catholic Church.

@@NewLifeOfAlbanyGa Taking the "Ya" out of his real name is like taking the Ya out of JeremiYA and ObidiYA, ZachariYA, etc etc. Jesus was not his name therefore it makes no difference if the "i" was pronounced as a "j" in this case (and the case you made). In this instance, it is immense that the J sound is not used as it was many many years later projected to do. Greek and Hebrew were phonetic languages with phonetic alphabets. One letter did not have to totally different sounds. It was later that the J sound was used . This is all intertwined with the word "Jew" which had nothing to do with Yehudah, it's nothing but deception and twist speak. Iudea was pronounced Yudea. Now all we have to do is distinguish Iudeans from Yehudah like Caiaphas and Herod for instance were Iudeans, but not Yahudim. Yes it goes right where you will never go.

The 1st act Congress did was to hire a translator to print the 1st American Bible. That Bible is The Aitkens Bible based off The Geneva not King James. They are very similar but The Founders hated King James and The Monarchy which was burning Geneva’s in the days of the Colonies. The Aitkens September 12th 1782 is known as The Revolutionary War Bible.The only thing is,Aitkens took the Apocrypha out which should be in there. The Geneva was present at the signing of the Deceleration of Independence and Constitution . King James thought he and his bloodline were to reign over man. He killed so many Christians that didn’t believe his way. He was a mass murderer. As far as the People escaping England for Religious freedom....They had no Love for King James. There were no printing presses like we have today. All hand written. They had King James Versions for referring to ,to show differences.

@@sergioortiz1839 That is the copy of the original and in Chauncers English with The Apocrypha. I have both. The Patriots edition. It’s small lettering in the Patriots which is 1599. Go with the original because it has the Marginal notes all the translators wrote in there. Queen Mary Tudor married King Philips of Spain and was bringing Catholicism back by beheading if you didn’t convert. Sound like another Religion to you? The translators were hunted by the King and Queen and that’s where a few wrote they Bible was in Geneva. John Calvin hated living there due to the men were allowed to have mistresses by law. Very immoral place back then. The Geneva was written for the plough boy. Referring to the common folk. Poor. Like most of us now. Because no one was allowed to read or write or recite the Bible in anything but Latin back then or you would get your tongue cut out. English was known as the Vulgar tongue then. If you read about the Marian exiles you will understand why this Bible was written. Don’t get the 2 lines of Bible mixed up. The Latin Vulgate was the Catholic Bible and Martin Luther and Geneva are the same just different languages derived from the Greek and Hebrew. They based it off The Subtuagint if I’m not mistaken, The New Testament that is. The drink Bloody Mary got its name from her. She was responsible for murdering close to 300 translators of the Geneva Bible. They wanted all men to know what God had said for them not a King or Church that kept you under rule by keeping you ignorant.
