Overseas Pakistanis shouldn't buy real estate in Pakistan. They should spend the money in the country they live in and improve their quality of life there. This will also decrease the power of the real estate mafia like Bahria Town and DHA etc and move the money from real estate to genuine business. Currently, the real estate market represents more than 85% of the Assets of Pakistanis, which means only 15% assets are in industry and agriculture.

Aslamoaliakum I am resident of Bahria Town Lahore. One of uncle is also looted by Bahria Town Rawalpindi same he is an overseas Pakistani living Canada. He purchased a plot which was on map and also under development means semi developed and he used to pay instalments from overseas he came after 4 or 5 years his plot was fully developed but when he went to Bahria Town office for possession he was surprised to know that he has no plot not even record in Bahria office later he come to know that his plot is sold to another party on cash and whenever you asked Bahria management they say their some employees done some fraud so we have fired them, so no plot only lollypop

I am so happy you made a video on this. Nobody talks about it anymore while that pharaoh lives off the savings of hard working people. Most of us have lost hope in Pakistan and left the country. Enough is enough.

Thank you for raising the awareness. In Pakistan, even the graves are no longer safe from theft. My mother's grave was stolen one night and someone else was buried there the same night. It was not some neglected grave that was in some remote corner of graveyard full of thorny bushes, rather the grave was in the center of the graveyard and it was in a maintained area. As far as Bahria Town Karachi (BTK) is concerned, it was especially designed from the ground up to scam overseas Pakistanis. I know people who purchased the plot near the entrance of BTK but when they decided to start the construction they were told that their plot has been moved nearly 10 to 15 kilometers into the depth of BTK where even the electricity, water and sewage lines will be laid after 10 years. Name of Pakistan should be changed to Fraudistan, that how bad the situation has become.

I paid all installments in Bahria Town Karachi, still waiting for the last four years to get my plot, no hope so far.

I have two plots files one in Bahria enclaves Islamabad and one at Bahria town Karachi both are still files and I have deposited all due since 2014.Fraud fraud fraud Bahria town.Say no to real estate of Pakistan

When i went to Bahria Town Pindi in 2003 the first time as overseas Pak, i also visited the area, i think where Attock Petroleum depot/refin was located, he had "qabza" around 200 acres land there, had forcibly evicted the people, had erected dozens of "posts" with klashinkov carring 'security guards', and my family friend, working in secretariate in Defense dept, told me that Malik had just gifted 2 plots to dictator Pres Musharraf. I stayed away from Bahria till today. But Blue World City Pindi had stung me 'slightly'

I made downpayment for semi-commercial plot. Later that plot category was declared illegal by LDA. After few years, Bahria converted it into residential plot & priced it at 20 lac per marla 😮. I followed up this case on PMs portal but there was no solution after years of complaining. Finally I sold it to a dealer on huge loss. That time I realized that no one can take any action against Bahria Town.

Ashir Bhai I live in Sharjah, have been for the past 15 years. I invested in an Awami Villas project in 2008 , Last time I was there at the Bahria office in Lahore they said it is still not handed over. This is preposterous, as time is passing by, my investment even though a 5 Marla house, is seeming more like a fleeting dream that is never going to come true. Most countries have an escrow system.

Sir, there are many people who are still waiting for villas and plots for many years. I have paid all installments for villa for 23A, it's 9 years and they have not delivered the villa. I'm overseas and invested in AED. Please raise voices for all affectees. Thanks

Ashir bhai it is actually called out of boundary plot , when u buy a file which doesn't have a plot number on it (No physical presence on ground). You paid for the file in monthly installments. But in reality it's not recommend to buy any file from Bahria only buy plots which are on ground with allotment letter ones. They are much more expensive than the files. Just a tip for our overseas brothers & sisters to learn. I have seen alot of person with out of boundary plots which they have payed fully only option for them was to merge it with any private builder in bahria town with full amount merging in any apparments or shop etc.

The only thing overseas Pakistani need to do is to file petiton in all Western countries that will allow any foreign citizen buying land in Pakistan the foreign govenment will have a seal of approval and confirmation that Pakistani government will be liable to pay.

Ashar Azeem , very important topic the only solution is , there should be a compulsory "Escrow account" for all real estae developers and builders. In this way all money shall be collected by banks and released to developers and builders only on handover of projects. Dubai real estate is working on the same pattern. How to implement this is government decision. Or some affactee can go to court for its implementation by court.

Its not possible in our life may be next generation seeing DHA and behrya town audit.

Thousand of overseas as well as millions of residents of Pakistan including me are waiting for our plot to be booked in 2012-13, all payment paid in 2018, but rumours BTK effectees are in miserable condition neither they are given plot not their hard earn money. Down with BTK

I think major part of blame also goes to overseas Pakistanis especially living in western countries. Why they send money back to Pakistan to buy real estate. They should invest in their own country. They should accept their new society and country. Even from a monetary perspective, devaluation of PKR results in very minimum returns if there are any.

Ashir bhai, exactly the same story with Jeddah Town Islamabad. In the late 90s, we bought the plot. We have all the documentation but can't really do anything. Same plots were sold to overseas Pakistanis in various cities New York, London, Riyadh, Toronto, etc.

Ashir bhai, I am dual national and was victim of Bahria town Fraud. My two plot came out of boundry. Besides court order, Bahria had refused to pay. Finally i sold my file to a dealer with -45% off the price i have paid already.

Sir I'm in Burlington, I bought a file in "New Lahore city" Lahore. Payment was completed in 2017-2021 but no plot alloted so far... Ap ko mila hoa plot nahi mil raha but we got caught up in a file.

Abhi Bahria Phase-7 Rawalpindi Kay sath Swan river kay greent belt ko Bahria Town sale kar raha ha magar koi authority action nehi le rehi. Pehlay Bah town ne zoo bania aur ab commercial plot 5 5 Crore k sale kar raha ha

Yet, as stated in the Google form, it's required to submit documentation for a plot already occupied by the Bahria team or transferred to another individual. I encourage you to seek support from all, whether they are associated with Bahria or not. We must come together to tackle challenges.
