In older versions, you can't sleep with monsters even on creative mode. Now, you can sleep with monsters nearby when you are on creative mode.

I wish it was still in the game. Sometimes I use the /effect command to give myself Darkness just to emulate the visuals (I have my Darkness Pulsing setting set to 0% so there's always a constant fog about 14 blocks away).

i feel like there is definitely some kind of void fog/underground fog, at least in bedrock. it gets quite a bit darker at like y0 i think, and you can’t see as far as clearly. personally, it just bothers me because it makes me a big nauseous.

Those were unique sounds, reserved for their own group of blocks - glass and light source blocks - which shouldn't be nearly as heavy as most of the blocks, and the sounds reflected that. But now when you place glass, it sounds exactly like a block of solid stone. So what consistency are you talking about?

They should bring it back as “corse netherrack” as that would make the biome more varied. Maybe with the chance it’ll grow something custom like potion trees. Think a mini gun powder tree you get 1 gun powder per in game week. Maybe you can grow glowstone and blaze powder. Each growing very slowly. Not sure what they could do but bringing it back into another name sounds great

3:13 Because C418 composed the original soundtracks for Minecraft as a freelance artist and not part of Mojang, you can't be officially copyright struck for any of the tracks he made, as he's given carte blanche to use it as much as you want.. This is also why he hasn't made new minecraft music recently because Microsoft wanted to be able to own it, which he doesn't want.

It's also interesting to note that even if your world percent is set too high for sleeping, you can actually climb into bed for a few seconds and it will reset your own sleep cycle and stop Phantoms from spawning, even if it doesn't turn to day.

That would be cool. Like, one snowball does +1 frost and immediately starts decreasing and when you reach frost limit you start taking frost damage

15:22 I'm pretty increasing the level of Nausea does speed up how fast it warps the screen but that's about it. It's not noticeable between nausea 1 & 2 anyway but giving yourself Nausea 5 and it's quite noticeable.

35:28 i'm no coder but i feel like this could still be a thing. instead of having all the mobs checking for an exploding creeper, just have the mobs wait for the creeper to ignite, then the creeper's ignition could send a code to alert the other mobs. again, not a coder, but this does at least sound like it could work better

The issue is that you still need a constant listener on every mob around a creeper in order to have that work

@@KuroRiotyou don't if you call those mobs' alert function FROM creeper, who, in turn, would only check for nearby mobs rather himself when ignitting - and just once (per one ignition). Being able to broadcast messages to objects from the caller instead of those objects constantly checking for a potential caller is a pretty vital fundamental feature

If "You can not sleep with monsters nearby" is an issue, build a 20×28 block house and have bed in center of the house. Its too far away from all walls so even if a zombie is at your door, you can sleep. But make sure you also have a high roof otherwise anything on your roof still counts as too close.

I think a better way to reintroduce enchanted golden apple, is through modifying the recipe (8 gold blocks and 1 apple), to (8 gold blocks and 1 golden apple) to balance out supply and demand.

On Bedrock, the Flame Aspect book being able to light fires is my favorite thing to use when dealing with bees. You can put the campfire out with your shovel so the bees don't set themselves on fire, and the Book (or you can use a flame aspect sword, I just don't want to accidentally hit a bee 🤣) saves you from miss-clicking and setting anything else on fire.

For number 22, people on mobile have that double tap. For sprinting and shifting, and also putting your shield up since you can only do that while shifting (Mojang please, I’m tired of suffering.)

You're suffering because you choose to play MC on mobile. Like seriously, MC Mobile and all the ppl who choose to play it OUTRIGHT RUIN SOO MANY features in Bedrock, just because Mojang randomly decide that needs parity (of all things) and then the unintuitive touch screen controls, which you rightly complain about, actively diminish the experience on versions of MC that don't even use touch screen controls... 😮‍💨. Like seriously who's f*cking decision was that because it makes NOO sense

7:25 I like the clock. I like using it in an item frame as a wall clock in various rooms when decorating a house. And hey, clocks are important. Just ask one of the guys on Hermitcraft, Mr. BDOUBLEO100. BDubs is just as famous for clocks and bed sleeping, as he is for his builds and owning horses.

In bedrock, if you use the /teleport command you can get past the world border in creative, and it would be glitchy like blocks would only render if you look at them a certain way, and very often you could only move left or right, and not forwards or backwards. I don’t know how this would work for Java if you even can teleport be on the world border in Java but in bedrock, it’s so fun.

They were more simple, which Minecraft was pretty simple looking all around. It fits a lot better in the past, but I think the new ones are fine too. It is nostalgia that makes us always believe the old ones look better

I miss the zombie pigmen, looks more like vanilla minecraft. Piglins are cool and all but they look like a modded mob- Id have just preffered if they added the piglin mechanics to pigmen

They only look like vanilla Minecraft because we were so used to them. Maybe it is also because the look of the mob was more basic, but it is more likely because we are used to seeing them so much over the years

honestly getting a cooked potato isn't as useful, as you can't plant it. But if you already have a potato farm, it is immensely better than the have a hunger a normal potato gives you.
