Ahhhh... The joys of the Newman Family. Randy is always fun, and his cousin Thomas is just as incredible. The score to the Shawshank Redemption is on my all-time top-ten list. Funny enough, one of my fave song's from Randy's discography is the theme tune for the TV series, Monk. "It's a Jungle Out 'Dere!"

@@KittyCarlile-490I remember liking that show. Could relate to that character a lot because of my dad. Omigoodness! It's not just about cleaning either. It was a relief to have friends begin to understand what sort of affect happens when you grow up sort of not knowing anything different. ...and to hear some of their experiences as well. At times nightmarish at other times amusing, often frustrating yet a boon to his profession. Hoping it's a rabbit ears channel. Maybe I can find it here.

Hah! I was just making that joke with one of my PPG friends yesterday. I asked him what he was doing for the 4th, he says "family coming over, cocktails by the pool, and fireworks," and I said, "remember, fireworks and alcohol don't go hand in hand," and he was like "yeah literally, if you've had enough, and you're holding a cocktail and a firework in each hand, don't accidently throw your cocktail and try to take a sip from your firework!" That would be the definition of a bad day. Oddly? I can see it actually happening here in Wisconsin (we drive snowmobiles on lakes in the summer here, no lie).

New Country and Gardens of Babylon off of Imaginary Voyage are great cuts. It's like listening to Segovia play Rock. Red Rocks, my old hunting grounds. You've probably done this before but in case you haven't, get your butt out of bed at 6 am (rush hour in Denver is 7 to 8 am) or so and take a few of your comrades with you, without any Instruments, and go over there and get on the stage when the place is empty and sing acapella. It's an amazing experience. Your voices will bounce off the Rocks and come back at you. Fantastic acoustics the 2nd best I ever experienced.

@@lelandsklar6363 So a long time ago, or maybe one of those lookalike's? I know I've seen Elvis plenty of times! It's how I ran into WAR: it was in the early 2000's and I was there for work, and going from festival to festival, we didn't get into the schedule other then when we had to be there, and leave... since we couldn't easily work in seeing a whole performance... I was on break and headed for the closest side stage, I hear this down low groove, this guy came on the mic and asked who all used to draw mustaches on, or poke the eyes out of the people on their parents records, and then said: Yeah, that was me! Then he went through a tad of their history and the groove went into "Low Rider" and that's when everyone understood, including many who knew the tune, but nothing else about it, which was just about everyone. They were really tight and even had some newer tunes, and it was a blast!

Is it legal for bus drivers to drive that long without a break?

Think from previous tours they may have spare drivers and do long driving in shifts. A couple of tours ago Lee spoke to the drivers. I am not certain but I seem to remember him saying something about it.👍🇦🇺

On the long drives they bring in a second driver. I think legally they can drive 10 hours. It is strictly handled. Serious ramifications if they go over alotted time.
