I am newer to your channel. So forgive for asking what may seem dumb questions. Do you own a yarn/craft store? What do you with all the yarn? I have yarn on hand all the time, but nothing like what you have. I find your videos enjoyable and I am currently working the shawl you gave the tutorial for recently. I am loving it.

She doesn't own a store, however, she teachs crochet and what O remember she said in one video. She gives one skien to her students. Also, I think she does giveaways and such too. The luxury fibers is where you'll see the biggest bang for your buck. They have an extra fine super wash merino worsted weight roving style that is OUTSTANDING, and only $7.50 US per 100 grams... You'll never find THAT here in the states, and probably not anywhere else, either. Have fun with the new squishies! 🐞

I just watched one of your videos unwinding unboxing. And I counted the amount of yarn. Then I watch the video when you were putting Putting some of your blankets and items on your in your cupy. I love Picasso yarn. I also like the regular saver yarn. It’s so soft and beautiful. I never ordered directly from my I indirectly ordered through a place here in the United States that carried ice yarns. I got the Picasso from them and then they decided to do mystery boxes and that’s how I got the acrylic saver yarn fell in love with it, I would love to purchase directly but that shipping I don’t can’t justify it no matter what if they end up costing me $.50 all great if not, can’t justify that shit but your luscious yard is beautiful. Such beautiful yarn! I bought the cakes splash with blue green and lavender…you mentioned making granny squares with it. When you use self striping yarn like that do you turn your work for granny squares? Would you have to do some sort of color control or would you let the yarn be random?

If you're looking for something simple for your first wearable, maybe try a cocoon sweater - literally a rectangle that you fold in half and seam the sides together with armholes along the fold line. If you want to fancy it up, trim it in a contrasting yarn, maybe a novelty like eyelash or fun fur. Very cute, and it literally could NOT get any simpler. Have fun! 🐞

Cakes DK is a nicer feeling version of Mandala. It's the same thickness, but instead of standard acrylic, it's the premium finer stuff. I have a blanket of the match for the Genie colorway in mandala and it's nice and soft. It holds up nicely too. It's good if you want something lightweight like a wearable or blanket for warmer weather months or something light for a baby. If you want something with more substance, I'd probably go with something like Alara or Lorena for matching size. The cotton gives it heft while allowing it to breathe and they hold up well in the wash also. It ends up feeling like a good jersey knit.

I love that puzzle but I don't like anything with wool in it. Especially if it isn't super washed wool. You can't wash n dry it. And I always forget and end up washing and drying and ruin my project. So I won't buy anything with wool in it. 😂😂😂

Hi, @janiceguy8752!! I just follow what the manufacturers do, and maybe swap out out foggy bags for recycled clear ones! Yarn from ALL factories comes in plastic bags, usually with small holes for ventilation. It's the resellers that take the yarn out of the bags for their store shelves. ;) Thank you! 🌻🌺🌼

Oh I know that ALL the yarn comes from the factories like that. 👍 i was just asking so I’d know what’s best for the yarn. I don’t have a beautiful wall like you do…oh I wish, it’s gorgeous, so I have mine mostly in totes. I do have about 6 bedroom dresser drawers full also. 🙈 I have left the last that I have gotten in the bags, and those are in the drawers. I have cedar chips, and cedar rounds that I put in the drawers and totes to thwart off silverfish, moths, etc. I let the yarn sit out a week or so away from chips, so there isn’t cedar smell before I start a project. Thank you sweetly for your response!❤️
