Great layout. And very nice selection of locos and rolling stock.

Great video. I’m giving serious consideration to a basic 1 gauge 45mm garden track and would get a Mamie Stirling loco (32 or 45mm track capable) to keep initial costs down, Please can you advise what the 16mm refers to ? Thanks

Hello Rich, I would point you in the direction of PECO track as the overall quality of the track is great and i have had no problems when running on other railway which use it. On my garden railway i used 45mm LGB track this is also as good as PECO but can be a bit more expensive so its better to buy second hand. The only problem i have had with the LGB track are the points as some older engines such as my Merlin Little Wonder derails when going over the frog as the wheel flanges are shallow. I have tested it on PECO track and there was no problem. Here are some links to help you, any more questions feel free to ask me, take care MLE. peco-uk.com/collections/13-5mm-sm-32 peco-uk.com/collections/16mm-g-45
