This peaceful, serene setting is currently be threatened to be changed into a mega sports complex in the surrounding cornfields next to the Field of Dreams by the new owner, which will completely and permanently destroy the peaceful atmosphere at the movie site. There is a page on facebook that is continuing to grow in support of saving this gem in the middle of the Dyersville, Iowa cornfields: "SAVETHEFIELDOFDREAMS"
