The "Queen of Christian Pop" AMY GRANT is so transparent you'll want to kick back, lean in and listen as she talks about life, love, overcoming obstacles and her blended family with Vince Gill like never before. She even gets choked up so bring tissues! Plus we went back into our 2016 archives and are releasing never heard before moments when Amy meets rising star Lauren Daigle for the first time. Amy mentors a young Lauren on navigating her prophetic success. Hosted by 9-time Emmy winner David Sams and life coach to the stars Tim Storey. Photo courtesy AmyGrant.com.

Amy is beautiful, honest, caring, loving and real. I have followed her since I was 16. I have spent countless hours of being alone with HER in my room. Learning about Jesus. Hearing her heart and being brought to Him. I love you, Amy. Thank you.

Amy Grant was the first Christian artist I ever heard of, I was seventeen & another Christian teenager from Texas gave me her copy of My Father's Eyes on cassette tape. I thought Amy was so pretty & I really liked her songs & voice - didn't understand why she wasn't being played on the radio; then I found out that regular radio stations do not play Christian music. Couple years later, while living in VA, a group of us went to VA Beach to see Amy Grant in concert & Michael W Smith was her opening act! So Amy Grant was also my 1st concert -it was great! Always liked her & always will! Love the fact that she crossed over & was being played on regular radio stations & on tv at different events and video stations! She has touched many lives with her faith in God, those that were out side the church, you know... the people Jesus died for too!

What a remarkable human. She’s brilliant. She’s beautiful. She’s kind. She’s painfully honest. She’s humble. She’s a blazing light in a dark world. She’s loving. Most of all she’s a believer of Jesus.

I Assume you are talking about Amy Grant. Or were you speaking of Lauren Daigle, or another woman mentioned in this interview? 🤔 I have been listening to Amy's music since her first albums in the 70s, I esp like "Father's Eyes" and "El Shadai"

Let me tell you she is only 5 years different in age so I really kind of grew up with her. I lost my way for so long and her too or so I thought. I became a club partier and had no clue that many times she followed me because it was in her pop days in the 80’s never even knew for how long I couldn’t say. Only recently I’ve tried to start my new path. I had lunch one day and we talked about how hard it had been for me to try and protect my family after really bad times and how I never felt that I could measure up to their needs only fail and fail my life to others constantly because I felt with my heart and not my head. After lunch I came home and the first thing that came to mind was her. So Alexa started a mix of Amy Grant and the very first song that spewed out was “Dont Try So Hard”. It not only was exactly what we at luck had talked about but Amy’s second verse was “When your wired to please” WOW did Amy just say to me Randy you had a very enlightening lunch now let’s you and I have an afterglow and I sat on my bed in tears for bringing Amy back into my life and the way she constantly makes you feel as if she showed you your entire life and I really was even so much even believed that was when sitting there the mix played a song that I loved in the 80’s and to find out it was her convinced me even more so of her wisdom and the ability to not even be there but to set up the play list that you need at that point and time. Amy forever great full for being who I can turn to for pure wisdom. By the way you are the one and only thing on my bucket list before I go and to look you in the eyes as you do everyone you engage with that is a very special trait that even I have learned because I want that person to know I’m hearing everything they are saying and engaged.

Great Interview. Now I want to find and listen to the song and Lyric "I Couldn't Have Been More Wrong" by Amy's Step Daughter, which Amy read as part of this interview. I also enjoyed hearing how Amy Grant looks for a new therapist and what therapists can offer one, in terms of helping people navigate through life.

Does Amy still represent the gospel she used to sing loudly about up until the Unguarded LP and tour? I get it that she started to write in religious nondescript terms, and I’ve greatly enjoyed those lyrics. But once she passed the Unguarded era, the subject matter was no longer “I Have Decided,” “Angels,” or “El Shaddai”, rather it focused on human relationships and secular interests. Again, that’s great too but the shift was fast, dramatic and lasting. I’ve wondered if her doctrine was changing and if so, why? I’d love to hear someone ask her these things. Many of us are very curious.

This may be hard for some NOW to understand. I had not once heard The Name of Jesus Christ mentioned, even God sparingly. Makes me A S K the question of '' relationship with/about whom Amy has sung soo many times '. Judas walked........ with Christ and yet he betrayed him. Are we not all judas's - but indebted up to the hilt, above our head in grace. Grace upon Grace.

An interesting interview with this intriguing lady but , as she truthfully stipulated, lying was her only failure but the one word that can have lifetime reprucussions. In simple terms, you are virtually being untruthful to yourself not just the person you are hurting, you degrade yourself. You see it with these rich Hillbilly celebrities easily because of the internet they get caught with ease by anyone above their intelligence politicians Business CEOs etc. If you can't trust yourself, who can you trust Kindergarten level ideology that I instilled in my two daughters at a young age. Simply stated, you can fix a truthful mistake, a lye the reciprocal it can't be ended with a solution. Ho Bo fools lesson for the day lol 😆 Love Backwoods Hicks above all others, twist that lovely rump darling 😘 ❤️

the very term "influencer" (used by the moderator/host) is unbiblical - the Church and Christians are to be SET APART from 'da World. Yet, time again and again, so-called "Christians" in media, music, culture seek to CONFORM to the World's patterns and influences. No, I didn't listen to this, except for the first 30 seconds or so. Christians "influence" comes from God's Word..and in today's so-called "culture" ya put a PERIOD on it.
